Love this knife block. It's compact, holds lots of knives & it's beautiful. I have lots of knives so even though this holds quite a few, I just might get another one. I don't think you'll regret purchasing this....I don't!

When you insert a knife, you need to orient it with the spine outward, or the knife will tip. That's a pretty shabby explanation, but if you use it, you'll understand. We had small paring knives tip and fall out of it before we learned the secret. Also, pretty tall. If you planning to put it under an overhead cupboard (as we'd hope to do) measure carefully. An remember - you need overhead clearance to insert the knife. If I had it to do over again, I'd just buy a nice maple knife block

I love it. The knives slip in and out very easily and it will be easy to clean the holder since it's plastic. The knives don't tip it over either. Not expensive, but worth it.

Highly recommend, I bought this for my elderly parents who have a collection of knives that fit poorly in their old knife block. Easy to use and convenient with space for scissors too. Contains even large knives fully so much safer.
