Q: Where are they manufactured?

At D'Addario's Facility in New York! Using their own made in house High Carbon steel cores! The wrap wire used for the wound strings I'm not sure if the Phosphor Bronze is sourced from outside of the USA but the strings are wound in the USA! Be sure to purchase from seller FretNation!

Q: Are these strings loop or ball end?

I'm 99% sure they are Loop End. If you purchase from FretNation and they are not it will be a free return.

Q: What is the difference between custom and custom medium string sets?

I'm thinking Custom means you select each string's gauge and Custom Medium is a particular offering from D'Addario with a set of strings in a Medium gauge but different from their regular medium strings. Medium strings are gauged 11/15/26/40. Custom Medium strings are gauged 11.5/16/26/40.

Q: Does Daddario still make a Coated 80/20 Bronze mandolin string? thanks

I believe that they do. But all Daddario strings are good ones. I use them for my mandolin to electric guitar and acoustics and all three sound great with them.
