L’Artiste by Spring Step Women's Sumacah-Slide Sandal

Picked up a pair of these at a local store. Big fan of Clarks, Spring Step and had never purchased this brand. Tried the pair in the store and loved the look and the fit. The pair I purchased from Amazon were also in the store, but I wasn't sure on purchasing two pair. After a week of wearing them I wanted another pair, so I ordered them on Amazon. Purchased the same size as the store but they fit tight at the toe. I was going to send them back as the bottom strap is not adjustable. My husband used his shoe tree and pushed them into the toe strap as far as he could and left it for 4 hours. Tried them on and presto, they fit perfectly. Love them!

I bought these sandals as an exact replacement for a pair I've worn out over the past 2 years in California, where sandal weather lasts a very long time. They were the best sandals I ever owned. I walked miles and miles in them until they finally split at the bottom. Expecting that these EXACT SAME SANDALS would perform in the exact same way, even though I bought the originals from Spring Step and these from Amazon, I didn't even try them around the house when they arrived. I just put them on and went out for a walk. That was when I realized this pair is defective. The strap around the ankle is too high, so the top of it (and even the buckle) rubs against my ankle bone, making the sandals quite painful. The leather also seems to be stiffer and lower quality, but I thought maybe I'd just gotten too used to my broken-in ones (I really don't think so, but it's possible). Quality of materials aside, these sandals were put together with the band too high, so I wanted to return them. Apparently, the company will only accept returns if they can re-sell the item; since I walked outside with them, of course that means they cannot be returned. The thing is, though, they should not be re-selling defective products! I don't know if Spring Step, itself, has reduced the quality of these previously-amazing sandals, if the pair I got were some kind of cheap knock-off, or if it really was a single defective pair, but, either way, steer clear of this company; all they care about is money. If you'd like to give the sandals a try (I really can't say enough good things about my original pair), go through Spring Step.

These shoes feel like you've already broken them in. Comfy, cute, easy to put on and take off. Great for summer. Goes with black, navy and other colors. The only thing I noticed was a little bit of tightness on my right foot, near the big toe. Not having the same problem on the other foot, so it could be a problem with my foot vs. the sandal. Overall a good value. I have several styles from Le Artiste/Spring Step. They're all unique, beautiful, stylish and they hold up incredibly well!

I have quite a few L'Artiste sandals and love them. These, however, did not fit properly. The length was okay, but part of the leather on the width bulged out, misshapen. They are beautiful, but did not fit. That is why I returned them. Not sure if the strap that bulged out was a mistake, as none of my others fit that way. Disappointed that I had to return them.

Love these! Super cute and comfortable. The top two straps have Velcro closures, so if you've had too much salt on your margarita glass, you can easily adjust the straps! LOL I get complements on these wherever I go, last week I was in Lowes and a lady stopped me to ask about them. I let her husband take a pic of the inside so she could find them on Amazon too! (Hi if you are reading this and hope that border collie is doing ok). I also have the higher heeled sandal from this manufacturer. I bought those in my favorite store in Philly and when I got home found these on Amazon. These have a leather upper and that helps absorb keep my foot dry in the heat.

I wear a size 10 and the 40 fit perfectly. I have a narrow foot and being able to adjust the fit with the heal strap as well as the across the foot strap makes these a treasure. This is my second pair. I wear orthotics in my shoes that I can’t wear in sandals and these give me solid support, cradle the foot and I can walk in them, plus they are so pretty!!

love the artistic flair of these shoes fit is perfect ordered next size larger and they run a little narrow which is perfect for my 2AA size foot. Very comfortable could use more arch support but add my own. Shipped as promised.

I really liked the look of these shoes in the store. I have neuropathy in my feet and have a hard time finding shoes that don't look orthopedic shoes in nature. I gave them 3 stars because of the stitching on the foot pad does bother my feet; the shoe salesman wouldn't sell them to me because he was worried about that exact reason! I will listen to him next time! Otherwise, I think they are made well and unique looking.....I think I need more arch support as well.
