I read past reviews, some of which were poor ratings because there was directions or hard to put together. Maybe they updated the packages, but the boxes DO COME WITH INSTRUCTIONS that have photos step by step. I also found videos online too. I just love the look of clear box showing off all the hard work and heart you put into your cake. It’s walking advertisement, keeps cake protected while still being able to view it. Bottom tray is very sturdy. I bought a similar smaller cake box but it didn’t come with ribbon like these ones did. It also didn’t have clear protective film to protect from scratches and was not as crystal clear as the sides are on the box. Will definitely order again!

It's nice to see the cake from all sides. That is the only positive. The top needs to be folded together. The instructions sent are photo copies of photocopies where you can no longer see detail. There are not written instructions. When done, I had to use box/packing tape to hold the lid together. Taking the film off the plastic is also a huge chore. Then, the outside plastic doesn't even fit the base snugly. It's a nice view or idea, but the product is horrible.

beautiful box, i used it to display a cake i raffled off. Top was a little tricky to put together but tape helped a lot.

Cute box. Came without instructions, but some tape fixed it right up. This is my test cake (first layer cake ever) and wound up a layer shorter than I hoped for. Still, the box looks great. They came in a soft sided envelope so one of the bottoms got a bit squished, but as long as the cake doesn't, that's what matters. Very effective in that regard.

It’s a very pretty box but hard to get a cake inside without scrapping the icing. Need two people to get it in without messing up the icing and I still did. Maybe a little bigger would be nicer and it would help if the clear part was less flimsy to where it could fit nicer and not pop off to mess up the cake!

It is easy to put together just be patient and look at it, you can also google if you assistance which I did just to be sure. Absolutely gorgeous and professional! Super impressed with this product!

These had potential but arrived damaged. I needed them so I fluffed them as much as I could. There also weren’t instructions on how to assemble. It should have been easy enough to put together a box, but it wasn’t sturdy at all so I wanted something to refer to.

My cakes are always too tall to fit into a box with a lid. I like these because the sides are nice and tall and usually only the cake topper will poke out.
