I just received my monocular scope today. (Evershop 12X50 High Power Monoculars for Adults Kids with Tripod Smartphone Holder). First thing I did was take a picture of a neighbor house about 100 yards away. Then, using the camera adapter, I was able to get a very nice close up of one of their hanging plants. Easy to focus, useful wrist strap and lens covers. The monocular itself is very nice. But… I found the phone holder/tripod to be very awkward, so didn’t use it at all. For pictures, may be better to get a digital device (but they cost so much more).

My husband used this when we went to Alaska for the Northern lights, out of the six cell phones used, his was the only one to get the pictures of the Northern lights.

Can’t use it with phone to take pictures that part Broke after one use.

I’m in love with this product. Is the perfect one for camping, picnic and hiking. I’m talking turns with my kids to use it and take beautiful pictures. Is so easy to carry it, can fit perfectly on my bag and is not too heavy. I can’t wait for the spring to be here and start talking more beautiful pictures of the blooming trees.

Don't waste your money. When I received the product, it broke after less than five uses!

although i havent review it in is entirety, the basic function i wanted was very decent, certainly will serve my need, product / quality is really good and they are very kind so four stars for them without hesitation! thank you so much, maybe night vision would be questionable i havent tested yet but anyways thats perfectly fine, in my case the product was purchase for day use.

I ordered this monocular and the "Schine" brand as well, to see which one I liked better. Optically, they seemed about the same, but the other brand had a faulty eyepiece so it will be returned. I like the size of this product, and, for the price, the optics are fine for my use. I wanted something small and easy to hand-hold while biking trails looking for wildlife; something to help identify distant objects without pulling my long lens camera out of my backpack. This does the trick.I like that the wrist strap attaches to the monocular with a metal screw. The other brand uses a lightweight lanyard, but it has a plastic screw, which is likely to strip at some point. I also likes the tripod that comes with this product, although I may rarely use it. Having a good camera and long zoom, I may never bother to try to use this with an iPhone, but I liked the fact that it has a tightening knob on the iPhone attachment to secure the adaptor to the monocular.
