For those wondering about the size
I've included a few comparison pics to show how small this bowl is. I mostly work with the small 2 oz Sugar 'n Cream cotton skeins like the one in the last pic, so this bowl will work fine for me. People who mostly work with larger stuff should probably look elsewhere.Overall, this bowl is pretty nice for the price. It has a decent weight to it and is mostly smooth (there was a tiny rough spot in the yarn hole, but I was able to fix it with a small file). The lightning/root-like design on the sides is really cool too. I'm pretty happy with it so far and I will update if that changes.

Beautiful Bowl
This bowl is gorgeous and I love it. However, there were a couple of rough places where my yarn would snag, so I had to do a little sanding to smooth them out. That is my only complaint about it. I love the fact that my yarn doesn't escape when I'm crocheting. And did I mention that the bowl is gorgeous?!

Cute and prefected in a few minutes
This was very cute, however, I need to use a nail file to sand the wood in the loop as it was a bit rough around the edges, literally. In 10 minutes it was great.I am thinking that I might stain the wood for a little color pop.
