DO NOT BUY! Random bottles have toxic ammonia! I had TWO bottles of this water brand test positive for free Ammonia - using Seachem’s free ammonia kit. I thought buying this bottled water would be a safe and easy alternative to mixing my own water for my hospital tank that’s only 2 gallons. I was wondering why my Betta never seemed to get better after 2 rounds of Cupramine for velvet and 2 rounds of Polyguard. I followed Seachem instructions to a T and spoke with their reps frequently. I’m sure they knew it was me calling and secretly hated taking my calls because I called so much. But I just couldn’t understand why Blanche Betta Devereux wasn’t getting better. In addition, I could NOT understand why her ammonia levels where so high and neither could the Seachem reps. On a gut feeling, I decided to water test the bottles of water I had. I was shocked and pissed af to see ammonia levels in freshly opened bottles of water. I immediately did a 80% water change mixing my own water using Seachem prime and API Quick Start, and did 10% water changes over the next few days to get the ammonia levels down. I even had to add Marineland Zeolite to the tank to get the Ammonia down while my little gal suffered with clamped fins. This water is great for Bettas. It helps keep the water stable. Yes, Bettas are hardy, but are vulnerable to rapid fluctuations in water perimeters. Most Bettas also have smaller tanks, making them ever more vulnerable to water issues with PH, ammonia, etc. I noticed with this water it also stays cleaner for longer. (I am not saying not to change the water!) I noticed instead of changing 20% of the water every week, I could do it about every ten days instead! Which I would think is a bonus for anyone. I wish the price was a bit less (why the minus star). Also the company should really look at doing 5 liter bottles, or bigger bottles in general. Bettas should not be kept in anything smaller than 2.5 gallon tanks. So when I need to do a water change, I realistically need like two of these bottles.

I purchased this for beta once a month. It would last is tank clean for a couple weeks. Has a bit of a film to it. Kept my beta alive for almost a year until he had to be rehomed due to our family moving.

Normally I love this water. I've bought it before with no issues. After asking how many bottles I would receive I purchase this item with the idea I would receive 6 in a case (6-cs). I ordered 2 cases and today I received 2 bottles. Definitely NOT worth it.

Paid for $27.67. Reading reviews and questions it stated I was paying for 6 bottles. Today I received one bottle and order is mark complete.

I love this water for my Betta. It's cheap, and I don't have a huge tank (3 gallons), so I always stock up on a few bottles when it's time for a water change. I live in a city and our hard water is horrible (it's completely white when you put it in a clear glass) so this stuff is great for my little guy and makes me feel better. I wish they did make bigger bottles or sell it by the gallon, but other than that I have no complaints!

My betta loves me! Just cause of the perfect water solution mixture. Briny just enough. I always have 2 bottles in stock. I can clean the tank every 2 weeks.

I have trouble finding this in our local stores' pet departments. Since we have two beta fish, I need more than one or two bottles at a time to clean out both tanks. I didn't really want a whole case, but this saved me a trip to a pet store. I am glad now that I ordered it. I had plenty of water to use, still have some left to add as the water evaporates, and both fish are doing well after being in the new water for several weeks. I will probably order this again in the future. The prices are comparable and it's nice to have it on hand as I need it.

Some of the bottles had “good, balanced” water, but some bottles preceded some pretty intense ammonia spikes in my tanks. I tested the water in my last shipment of bottles, and it was WAY off for a Betta!!! Ammonia was 2.0!!!!The price also keeps raising, so I have canceled my subscribe and save.
