Quick Cooking Brown Rice, 15-Pound

Love this brown rice, it's tasty and fluffy. And specially is quick cook. No need to soak it like other that I bought. I will order this again! Thank you.

We're an Asian household so rice is a staple. Since making a transition from white rice to brown rice for health reasons, we've found this to be the best tasting option. It has a nice chew but not too hard. I usually wash it 3 times, drain the water, and use 1.25:1 water to rice ratio, let it soak for 30-60 minutes, then let the rice cooker do its thing (although we've definitely skipped the soaking process when there is no time, and it turns out well). We have a Cuckoo rice cooker and use brown rice setting.

I didn't expect much from this at first but I was pleasantly surprised how much better and easier to cook this fast cooking brown rice is compared to regular brown rice, I really just cook it like I would white rice with down to the amount of water needed. The texture is much softer than regular brown rice and really eats just like white rice although it's slightly more loose.

Absolutely love supper high quality brown rice , and cooks quick. Always love this brand for the sushi rice but their brown rice is to notch!! Highly recommend!!

Good deal for this big bag. Rice cooks up well and is tasty like it should be. Keep in jars rather than the bag after opening and no troublw with having to cook it longer or anything.

Many people know Nishiki is a good quality and pricy. But it’s cheaper than H mart or any other stores, I’m so grateful!

I've tried 1 or 2 other brands of short grain brown rice, but this one cooks much quicker and is much less expensive. Normally I put the rice in the rice cooker (a small Zojirushi) on the Brown rice settings, which takes about 1.5 hours to cook. This one you just need to soak for 20 mins, and then press the button for White (Sushi) rice. You'll have great rice in 40mins! When cooked properly, it is not mushy and you can see the grains. I haven't used it for making sushi, and although it's not as sticky as white rice, I think it would be perfectly fine for that too. Will order again.

I used to live in Japan, but otherwise being Asian rice is my staple diet so I'm very particular of it. I eat short grain and prefer genmai/ brown for it's nutrional benefits and have tried a couple of brands from shops like Holland & Barrett and Nourish (which take ages to cook), so I find this 20 min quick one to be a real time saver. I soak it for a couple of hours and it comes out perfect after just 20 mins simmering and then leaving to stand and steam with the lid on for about 10 mins. Great taste, tastes just like what I used to eat in Japan so overall pleased. Fast delivery as well.

tasty brown rice. for me personally only using 1 cup of water per cup of rice wasn't enough, maybe because I was only cooking 1 cup of rice. I added 2 more cups to it and the rice was nice and squishy and sticky (my preference) I'm sure with less water it would be less sticky.

Fast delivery. Really good product. Wish they were packed as 10 kg. But overall very happy with my order.

First of all this product is well packed and is delivered very quickly. Its my 2nd order of this size. Cooking in a rice cooker it takes the same time as white rice. Great tasting. Highly recommended.
