Great boot - large, but great boot
These are really nice boots and compared to most engineer boots out there are very well-priced. I have Red Wing boots that cost a lot more and aren't any better. I tried Chippewas too and they are made very similarly and couldn't justify paying 2x the price. The sole of the Dingo boot has more texture and better traction than the Red Wing or the Chips. They're very sturdy, made from good heavy leather and very comfortable right out of the box. I couldn't NOT recommend buying these if you're looking for a black engineer boot. IMO, the sizing of the boots is off - I saw so many comments about them being large, and so many others about being perfectly sized that I took a shot and ordered my regular size - 9.5. They weren't huge but they were too large, so I exchanged them for 9's which fit much better, but are now perfect with a heavy insole (I used the spares that came with an old pair of Uggs). The toe-box is true to size width-wise, but it is "tall" as another reviewer mentioned. This is great for me because I can wear light or heavy sox w/o squeezing the tops of my toes. The black dye on the inside does bleed, so if you're really particular about getting black on your sox I recommend wearing with dark sox for a while. All in all - excellent boot and great price.

the strap over the arch isn't just decoration
Based on other reviews I ordered my size (9-1/2). The boots are "roomy" but the foot bed is true to size - If I'd ordered even a half size down my toes would touch the tip. I am considering putting another hole in the arch strap to snug them up with thinner socks, the strap is definitely the there for proper fitment. Overall the boots are as expected - decent quality but not what you'd get with a much more expensive boot. Definitely a cool boot for motorcycling (or the "greaser" look), I don't plan on going for any long walks in them though !! - for the money and my intended use I'm happy with the purchase. If you're looking for a work/walking boot you may want to consider looking at the more expensive brands in this style. My work boots are iron rangers, money well spent for everyday wear. The Dingo Rob is more of a casual fashion boot imo, the leather is soft and the boot is relative comfortable. Update after 2 days wear - very comfortable (with orthotics and thicker socks). I added a hole to the strap, it snugged the boots up just enough. They are still a bit roomy but doubt they'd come off in a "bad biking situation", can be pulled off but the straps need to be loosened to put em back on. for the money I raised my rating, bad ass boots on a budget !!

Got for husband for Christmas. He loves them. Seem good quality. Fit is good. Still have to see how well they wear. He is hard to his motorcycle boots.

Great boot to wear to go out and work on your car with.
They are a great buy, I get compliments where ever I go… I polish them every Sunday, they fit well with inserts, so I would recommend to buy them a 1/2 size bigger.

Who are these sized for?!
I would have given less stars if I could. Shipping was great fast service but the boots really sucked. I don’t know who’s foot they designed these for but it seems like the person is a size 7 1/2 going on a 9. These have to be the worst boots I’ve bought. Insoles and more insoles to make them work. I’ll have to take them to a shoe store to get them modified to fit right. The leather dye is another problem, the dye kept coming and coming. Rubbing off on jeans and everything else. Cant comment on comfort, as these boots can’t be worn lest I suddenly gain 95 lbs and it all goes to my feet. Can we get honest engineer boots without having to play a guessing game on the size?! Thankfully they were below 200$ I can just chalk that up to a never buy boots from Dingo. Save your money and please heed the warnings on the reviews, not sure if it’ll help.

Perfect Boot
My dad wanted these boots. He specifically requested them as they reminded him of a boot he wore many years ago. He LOVES them! He said they fit like a dream, and they look wonderful on. He wears a EEE size shoe, so the fit was very important. Again, he said they are exactly as described, if not better.

height of work fashion...
well to call the engineer boots is an insult to all that would be a true work boot. I do agree that they LOOK like engineer boots and, they weigh like engineer boots but they do NOT fit or function, in any meaningful way, like engineer boots. They are not steel toe, fair enough, that was completely disclosed and I did not expect them to be but it is still a let down. They upper is THIN, unlined leather and smaller in diameter that I really expected. The buckles are cheap, lightweight stamp steel. And the size... I don't know what others have gotten but the boots I received are on the small side of normal (12EE). I am going to have to get these on a stretcher to make them comfortable. the soles are the shining high point of these boots, it's a good, solid, slip resistant foundation to walk on. all in all, I cannot be too disappointed for the price but I will know better in the future

Originally ordered an 11.5 of this boot however my husband was not able to get his foot in the shaft of the boot so we had to return it. Return was quick and simple. Then re-ordered a size 13, they are PERFECT! No problem getting his foot in the boot this time, they were roomy but we added insoles and now they fit like a glove. Well made boots for sure, very sturdy and good materials. Very pleased with this purchase Thank you

Had been looking for a pair of engineer boots for a while and took the plunge on these after seeing a YouTube review. Really good price the boots are really nice and appear well made and leather is soft. Sizing probably run a little in the large size but fairly accurate to the size chart. Not a high end product but I didn’t expect that for the price and they have the look and feel I was looking for.
