MIER Women's Quick Dry Cargo Pants Lightweight Tactical Hiking Pants with 6 Pockets, Stretchy and Water-Resistant

I do light to moderate walking and hiking and a lot of overseas travel. I bought my first pair six months ago and they have worked out beautifully: lightweight, easy to wash in a sink or machine (wash gentle cycle, tumble dry low or air dry) , comfortable (even in the crotch), stretchy both at the waist (in case my weight varies 10-15 lb) and in the material itself. They dry quickly and wick moisture well and are slightly water resistant (not water proof). There are many deep pockets and they have zippers that work well, so things don't fall out. After six months of frequent use I bought two more pairs. The only thing I wasn't crazy about is that the extra, sticking out zipper tabs designed to make it easier to find the zipper, stick out too much and are rough to touch. So I just pulled off the extra rough tabs and left the smooth smaller ones. That also makes the pants more presentable for a nice dinner when traveling. If I wear a nice top that is long over the pants, so you can't see the zippers or pockets at all, the black pants can pass as dinner pants (with some nice shoes) in all but the fanciest of restaurants.Of note is I do not have muscular thighs . If I did, the thigh cut, which is perfect for me now, might be a bit tight.

I first bought some pick pocket proof pants for a trip to Spain. I was looking on Amazon for a pair with zippers for my husband, and I found Mier pants. I got him a pair and myself a pair. They were half the price of the pick pocket proof pants, and I ended up liking these the best. The pockets are just the right size for my big iPhone and the zippers are easy to use. I ended up turning my brother onto these for the same trip, and we all ended up with at least two pairs of Mier pants (my husband has three). None of us can get over how comfortable they are. They are warm on a cold day and comfy on a hot day. They’re wonderfully lightweight and have become all of our favorite pants. They’re a bit noisy, but not that much. My brother wears his all the time on the golf course, my husband wears his to work pretty exclusively. and I love that I can wear them and feel dressy or casual. These are the best all-around pants I’ve ever had and my husband and brother agree!

These pants are comfortable and trim fitting thanks to the stretch fabric. The DWR finish keeps them looking clean, even with the light gray color. I wore them hiking and to dinner when I wanted to look a little dressy. They were fine for a long airline flight. They dry very quickly when hand washed during long trips. I prefer pants that fit at my waist , not low rise and these were comfortable, no belt needed. Four stars because they do make a little sound when walking.

I like everything about these pants, except for maybe the noise that they make but I'm hoping with washing that will go away. I'm 5'6" 125 lbs. I ordered a 4 and the fit is perfect. I would wear these anywhere, not just hiking. The length is perfect. I would consider these to be slim cut because the legs and butt are not in the least baggy like a normal cut is on me. They are super comfortable and extremely stretchy. I can easily squat or kick without them binding any where. The only pockets that my cell phone will fit in is the top front pockets. I would have preferred to store it in the side leg pocket, but that pocket is not deep enough. Deeper hip and side pockets are about the only change I would make to these well-made pants. I'll be buying more in other colors because it's hard to find pants that fit this well and are truly comfortable while looking good.

These were great for our recent 10 day travel. Light weight and space saving, the zippered pockets kept my hotel keys, chap stick, etc easily accessible. I’m clumsy and the water resistant was what I needed, when I spilled stuff, it wiped away easily and dried without marks. Only potential issue is the material weight, it’s thin, so I wore thermal pants underneath. I’m in between sizes. I ordered two sizes and chose the larger because I don’t like any cling and knew I would be wearing the thermals. The back elastic waist really helps with movement and covered well, no underwear sticking out when I bent over. Highly recommended. Will get more
