Great for use in cooling Xbox series S console.
Bought these to set Xbox series S on to help with cooling. Quality built, cools well, and was a nice oversized fit when standing console on end. Was very quiet at first but began to make noise after several years of use. Still going strong just a bit of noise now. High quality great solution!

Good cooling at a great price.
Works great at a low price point. Like that it has multiple speed settings. I use it to cool my stacked network switches.

A great, versatile, fan.
I purchased this fan to cool a home 5g "garbage can". I had "drop off" issues with my signal and read that the particular 5g unit I have is prone to overheating. I use this fan to keep said tower cool. I sit the 5g unit on top of this and it flows enough air to keep it cool and operating optimally. It is relatively quiet. I really don't hear it unless everything in my house is silent. My only two critiques of the unit: it is not adjustable, and I needed to purchase a USB C adapter. No big deal at the end of the day and is not a "make or break" issue. Bottom line, if you need a reliable relatively quiet fan at a reasonable price then you will be happy with this one!

Very loud at max speed, annoying rattle at medium and low
I bought these fans to cool down my cable modem and router. They're powered by a USB A cable and come with an extension cable with switch for low / medium / high speeds. There are four feet, and come with 4 felt pads to attach to those feet. At high speed, the fans were extremely loud. I'm accustomed to loud fan noise as I have a PC gaming machine - this was over the top loud. I tried the switch to reduce the speed. At both medium and low speed, the fan noise was more tolerable, but the lower speeds introduced a loud rattle. So, if I were to keep this unit, my choice was extremely loud fan noise, or extremely annoying rattle. I've dealt with rattles before - it's usually low quality ball bearings or fan blades out of balance - both signs of cheap quality components. The fixes for both are tedious. I opted to return the unit and look for a higher quality alternative. Perhaps this was a one-off, so if you decide to purchase, I hope you have better luck than I did.

It does the job well!
First, I have an Apple router that works quite well except that the internal cooling fan gave up the ghost causing the router to over heat. Instead of tearing into the bloody router to replace the fan, I decided to get this external fan and set the router on top. The fan has 3 speeds and is pretty quiet. Runs off of the router USB power connector. Has good airflow and does the job very well. Inexpensive, too. Perfect for my application. Recommend this item.

Very Quiet but still moves decent air
My project was a 160 watt output 2 meter linear amplifier. The amp has a decent sized heat sink, but for constant operation in a contest environment or 50% duty cycle digital mode that heatsink gets mighty hot. The amp would eventually burn itself up if some form of additional cooling wasn't utilized. In my application the tall standoff "FEET" placed the fans too far above the heatsink. I removed the standoffs and stuck the foam pads directly to the plastic fan guards. I could place the fan either blowing into the heatsink and out the ends in both directions or upside down and sucking air into the heat sink and out the top. I chose into the heatsink for my first attempt, that vents the air out the rear and front of my equipment racks directly not towards gear above. The rack fans are louder than these amp fans. I needed to figure out where I was getting an empty USB port with power... The rack has a USB hub in the rear but that is an older hub that doesn't provide external 5v. Found a powered USB in my computer UPS front panel. If I shopped longer I might have located a plug in 120v or a set of 12v fans... But for now this setup is doing a very good job by removing the standoffs. I am very pleased.

These Work So Well
My office is the hottest room in our house & it’s where all of my electronic equipment from our router & modem to my office equipment. They aren’t noisey, the look is fine, lifespan is good & the value can’t be beat. They keep my router & modem at acceptable temps.

If you've got mission critical equipment that you really don't want to overheat then this will solve that problem! Good price and works out of the box. It's not pretty, but it does the job.

Once you open it to clean the fan after 6 months. It won’t be reassemble again. Waste of money.
