The book was consuming, and I mean literally because I read it in one afternoon not able to put it down. It is so true that there are too few mentors in this business with the expertise and having the time to share their personal success. They don't have the time because they are too busy creating and living their success. Dave manages to capture their time for you while asking all the questions that you would if you had the chance. It was inspiring to hear the actual steps that people took to create their success. It left me feeling like it is not to late to change the trajectory that I am on and set a new course in my own career. I will read it again and use it as a compass in my own practice. I recommend it to anyone interested in taking their business to a next level.

The follow on book to David Mullen's "Million Dollar Financial Services Practice". This book focuses on 15 separate advisors, and 13 lessons that can be learned from them. These 13 lessons are specific and actionable, and backstopped with stories and anecdotes from successful advisors with broad geographic and practice areas.The book is a good complement to the original, and there is a motivational component to the book that makes you feel as a reader that the implementation of these strategies is both possible and practical - as well as the fact that these are multi-million dollar producers who actually did it, all over the country and in many different practice areas.The book is well written, easy to read, and has short checklists and summaries at the end of the lessons that will help focus the implementation of the practice development plan laid out in the two books. Definitely worth the read.

The book not only gives you the FA's best practices but also a step by step system to implement them.The strategies have been very easy to include in my daily activities. I had immediate success with the tactical strategy of getting more assets from existing clients.As an FA on a plateau I found the personal example of Henry Camp very inspiring. It not only talks about how he changed his mindset but also the actions he took to go from being an "average performer" to a multi million dollar FA.Dave has taken his years of experience as a FA and Manager and his ability to teach to create a must read book for anyone who wants to take their business to a higher level.

No motivation, selling the big dream, or think big kinda book.It dives straight into the know how and to do’s to be a millionaire advisor.Practical, step by step book in teaching you the ins and outs of sales, marketing yourself and funding for the right people.Hard work and commitment is given. This books is only for those who are focused and willing to commit to do what it takes to be at the top of their game.

Not really what I was looking for. I was expecting more in terms of better guidance to building portfolios for clients. It does give info on what amount of prospecting and networking it takes to build this business.

If you are serious about hitting a level in FInancial Advisory that few do which is the seven figure earning level, then you understand the power of modelling strategy and learning from the best and you will appreciate the content and context of this book. The strategies given are proven and can be adapted for any market or location. Very well written by one of the best about the best. Its become a part of my success library and Ive read it twice already this year together with Think and Grow Rich this will be a yearly read for me.
