The Un-Square
It is a simple one piece item with no moving parts and lacks complexity. Has only one job to do and that is to be square. Just like the 3 Irwin tap & die sets I returned because they were a manufacturing abomination (see review with photos), this product fails to deliver. Now that Rubber Made owns Irwin I guess the quality is rubber stamped. IT'S NOT SQUARE OR FLAT!

Bright and light!
I have always used metal speed squares in the past. My last one got damaged so I decided to give this a shot. I am always looking to make my operation more efficient and lighter. I was afraid that a plastic square wouldn't be square but it is. The markings are a little harder to read than my metal square so I might run a sharpie over them to make them more visible. If you drop this square it doesn't make a lot of noise or damage floors. Markings appear to be accurate too, always a plus!

It's ok
Its cheap and square and easy to see. The only thing I'm not wild about is the wide flat base is not completely flat-it rocks side to side when on a flat surface (machined table saw table). Does not affect square, just the first speed square I ever had that was like that.

easy to find and accurate enough for me
Works as advertised... easy to find due to orange color... has the necessary marking for most of my projects. Can produce a straight edge line for making cuts. An overall handy tool to have around... i got two because I never seem to have to walk over to pick it up where i used it last...

Good, small rafter square
Decent cheap, plastic rafter square. I bought this as an additional square to use for marking and cutting boards. It is a little small, but works well for 2x4 and 2x6 lumber.

Sturdy Hi Vis plastic that doesn't get frying pan hot in the sun like the aluminum versions.
