I have a Culligan Water purifier system. Works great. The plastic on it is very slippery. So slippery that anything I put on. It comes right off. Glue runs off like it’s water. Masking tape doesn’t stand a chance. I may will be putting a piece of paper up against it. Hot glue will dry in a long stream and then you can break it off like an icicle. I have even made sure that the area I am trying to glue is perfectly dry, and then I rip it up with the sandpaper to get something not so smooth surfaces because the roughness is supposed to help. But not here. I think this must be the proper test material that glue companies should use as a base. I purchased a hot glue gun. It has come in very handy, but it is worthless here. I have used double-sided tape. Epoxy tape. I tried JB Weld. Frog glue. Gorilla glue. The whole zoo! So then I finally heard of E 6000. OK let’s give it a shot. In order to hold the pieces onto the main tank so they will secure, I had to wrap masking tape around the cylinder and tape it to itself so that nothing would fall down past that point, and then in order to hold that masking tape up, I had to put masking tape up at across the top like little suspenders for it. The thing looked like it had been in a car accident. I left it for 72 hours. Came back this morning and went to see how everything worked. Took all the tape off and it is staying put for sure. Finally, found something that does when it says it would. The video shows you the extent that I had to go to in order to hold everything in place just because the surface of the cylinders was so slippery. I think the results are worth it. Although I wish somebody told me at the start that this is what I should have been using. I only bought a little tube, but I think I will be using this product for the rest of my life.

Thought it would be easier to use,it works but you have to hold it a long time.

Like most things made these days some of the materials or it’s construction are suspect at best I buy the same kind of boots all the time and have for years. I find these boots to be very comfortable and work for my situation. The pair I just bought had the front four or 5 inches of the soul loose and when I got them, I still wanted to have the same boots so I bought this product to see if it would put the soul back on correctly and clean the area up really well. I applied the product to both sides as evenly distributed as I could. I put the soul back together with the upper duct taped it tight so it would match and so far it seems to remedy my situation. I guess the only drawback I would have with the product is it dry super fast and if you don’t have everything ready to roll, you won’t be able to manipulate at all within 10 or 15 seconds so just pay attention to that

I've watched many, many online DIY videos and they all seem to use this E6000 glue. I finally decided to purchase a tube and I can see why it is so popular. It takes overnight hours to dry, but worth the wait.

Accidentally heat sliced a tent strap with an exhaust component of my diesel heater on my tent vestibule. I used this adhesive and let it dry with some weight on it for 24 hours. The bond is very strong and flexible

sole of my favourite sneaker detached and this product fixed it permanently. Applied a thin layer, pressed firmly and let it cure overnight. Now its waterproof, flexible and stronger than original glue. Works on leather, rubber and more no more throwing things away.
