pros outway con! Fun,delightful,creative toy
My 5 year old daughter watches Madison and Trinity beyond family on youtube, where she first saw this product. As most kids do,she is really into slime.I mention this, because I cannot say how many times we purchased slime only to have it make a colorful mess in carpet, let alone often have cheap containers that get lost or packaging as the container. That said,I find these Goo Goo Galaxy dolls to have a very practical side as well, being able to be a container children actually want to put slime away into because it is disguised in play and keeping Doll full. I also give props to this company for making a toy that is creative and builds hand on cerebral experience, important for young children. The poring, mixing, squeezing and learning of syringe are all good motor skill teachings. The directions on the pretty galactic passport are made to be a fun countdown, and are very simple and easy.No rocket science to fill a bowl up to water line so it does not spill over, the bowl is sturdy, the spoon is cute and functional, and it only takes one packet in water before stirring and adding all glitters and mixing. Can't stress enough how EASY it is to make, when many other creative gifts and toys we have had before have been too complex for children, literally sometimes taking multiple days to complete, and taking much more work from adult to finish though packaged for children.Goo Goo Galaxy Doll slime was not made to high maintenance for a child to make with light supervision. To top that off,its hardly supervision when you are having fun with your child! We had a great time making memories with this craft of slime, and the greatest thing is we can do this for as long as slime exists, let alone the company gave a additional slime packet to make more! The packaging gets superb creative credit as does the complete design of doll and glitter color mixtures for each unique doll. It's perfect for imaginative little kids, who adore slime, glitter and cute characters.I also appreciated the extra information they provided for if anyone's mixture was not mixed correctly, and how to fix it.The only downside I see is that yes,the syringe wasn't made perfect (though sturdy). However,as a person who watched this product first on youtube,I was not surprised and found it still worth purchasing. If you similarly, don't mind a little deviation and problem solving, then it will be easy peasy to simply take the inner syringe plastic pump out, spoon in slime half way,and then use the functional pump back in to get it through syringe into dolls mouth.Overall,I think reasonably it was hard for production to find a way to get slime to be watery enough to suction in,when it is supposed to be more slimy. The slime consistently only pulled in syringe less than a half inch.My daughter was excited to do this project on the kitchen table, with a place mat and napkins.Anyone doing this project elsewhere is just asking for a mess.Overall as stated, the pros out way the con and my daughter loves it so much and has no complaints.Kids don't care about syringes, they care about a great toy !

Great toy if you enjoy crafting and don’t mind a little mess
This doll is very cute and squishy. She is much bigger than the regular goo goo galaxy dolls. I bought it for my 10 year old daughter for Christmas. She really enjoyed it and has been carrying the doll around without it leaking. Sometimes it’s hard to get the syringe to suck up the slime from the bowl. When that happens we just scoop the slime into the syringe and that works fine. Filling up doll isn’t really hard, it just can get messy. The doll will sometimes spit out some of the slime when you are filling her. Just have some napkins ready. The slime really isn’t slime. It’s almost the consistency of shampoo. So it’s not really good for playing with in your hands. Just fun to fill the doll with and have her spit it out. But it is hard to get her to spit out all the slime if you wanted to replace it all. Once you fill her you can put the pacifier lollipop in and it stays in pretty well without leaking. But we haven’t been squeezing her really hard. I think it’s a good toy for older kids, It’s fun to customize the slime inside. Me and my daughter had fun filling her up, she was able to do most of it on her own.

Take a walk on the weird side
Wow, this is a weird toy.I agree with the other reviewers. It's a serious mess to play with. The slime making part is fun, but do it outside or with a drop cloth under you. It gets EVERYWHERE. The syringe is pretty lame, but it doesn't really fill all the way up, so you have to refill it numerous times to get the entire bowl of slime in the doll. When you finally get the toy filled up, it pukes out the slime. Not exactly sure what message we're sending with a toy that binges and purges, but... We made the doll puke back into the bowl, and collected the slime in a sealed takeout container, so we could do it again.I'm fairly sure that my daughter will start getting experimental once the included slime is gone, and I expect to be digging all manner of goop out of it eventually, before she loses interest and it starts collecting dust. The plus- my kid was happy and busy for a couple of hours. The minuses- messy, totally weird, possibly misogynistic, and overpriced for the amount of slime mix you get.

Cute but bad formulation.
My niece absolutely loved this! Unfortunately it was more like a chunky gel as opposed to actual slime consistency we ended up adding more water than directions stated and it turned out a little better but still felt like it still had some rubber chunks in it.

Fun ... until it leaks
PROS: I bought this for my daughter because she LOVES goo goo galaxy dolls and ANYTHING having to do with slime. It was a huge hit on Christmas morning. Admittedly, after collaborating for about 5/10 minutes, she left me with the work of filling the doll with slime. And I had to really work to figure out how to get it filled without coming back out of the doll's mouth (hold the dropper the right way). It was messy, but that is the point of slime, so I didn't really mind that in the creation process. She got to pick out the color/glitter for the first fill, and there is enough for a fill #2 in the future, so that's a bonus. And the quality of the slime/goo is awesome... it's a powder that you mix with water, mixes easily and has a great "gooey" texture, better than slime you'd make at home with glue. And for the first few days: NO leaks!!CONS: Now it's Jan 9.... yesterday I found it in a leaky puddle of goo, on the carpet. This was the 2nd or 3rd time it's leaked. Even one time was too many. It cleaned fine from the carpet, but has become more annoying than fun for me as a mom, and I think it's starting to stress my kid out. I read the reviews so I knew what I was getting into. I kinda wish I hadn't gotten it, because I care about the earth and I think it's gonna end up being a throw-away toy.

5 year olds love the slime vomit
As always with these toys they cost too much. My 5 year old loved it! Exactly as described and what we expected. Her favorite part is they throw up the slime and then eat it. It's gross but she loves it, so yay!
