Jessup Pimp Grip Skateboard Griptape Sheet (9-Inch x 33-Inch, Neon Green)

I normally use MOB grip tape, but got this Jessup griptape because of the pattern that matches my son's skateboard deck from Death Skateboards.However, this very thin griptape is very poor quality. It does not stick very well and creates tons of air bubbles. It also, surprisingly for how thin it is, does not cut well. And most unfortunately, the grip or sand comes off very easily. This is easily the worst name-brand grip-tape I've ever purchase. We will unfortunately have to replace this griptape very soon. 😢I'll never purchase Jessup grip again. So very disappointing!

As expected

believe it or not, I used this for putting grip tape on my car's sporty but not-so-useful metal gas, clutch, and brake pedals that get really slippery in the rain, which can get to be pretty dangerous. After multiple minnesota snowstorms getting them wet with my boots, the tape is still just as grippy as day one, and the color hasn't faded a bit! as for skateboarding, the grip tape isn't the most grippy tape ever, but it all really depends on the tape you would like. I would put it at a medium-grip tier in comparison to some tape ive used.

I am not using it for a skateboard, I use this product so I can cut to size a chainstay protector for my mountain bikes.This skateboard griptape does cut easily with scissors and sticks really, really, really well to semi dirty metal surfaces like that you'd find on a mountain bike chainstay. In all honesty, it's so gritty, I'm sure you could practically sand a car down.The colors you see offered are identical to what you receive.

I order the "skid mark" brown and it's pretty exactly as described.It also appears that previous reviews and comments about questionable packaging has been corrected. The box I just got for just one strip of 9"x33" was big enough to put a skateboard deck into....almost overkill. The tape came completely flat, un-creased, and as described.I'm a prime member so shipping was free, but otherwise based on the size of the box,I think you'd pay more for shipping than the actual cost of the tape.I'm not complaining, just pointing it out. I'm glad Amazon has been responsive to previous criticisms.

Very grippy, easy to apply. I would prefer something actually clear, but I realize the limitations of materials science in creating something like that which is affordable. As it stands, I can clearly see the wood-grain through it, though it appears like it's covered in frost.
