Star Wars, Power of the Jedi, Imperial Officer Action Figure, 3.75 Inches

Figure sculpts started getting really good around this era, so this figure holds up very well despite being comparatively old (2001). The uniform detail is excellent. Articulation is not extensive, but it's decent, with points at the waist, wrist, and elbows (the elbows don't bend, but they do rotate around). No joints at the knees or ankles, but that's common for the time (and even for newer figures). He can hold his gun well, or be put in the classic arms-behind-the-back pose. I wish he had a holster for his gun, but that's really my only complaint. Great figure all around, even if it's a little old.Note that he doesn't include the little "Force File" pamphlet some other figures from this line included.

Wow, where to begin. I love the Staff (Black Uniform) Officers from Star Wars, ESB, and RotJ. But who sculpted this?The officer's wore tunics and jodhpurs. The uniforms were re-used from Fahrenheit 451. This action figure is seen wearing the Flight Suit that the TIE Pilots, Imperial Gunner, and Bridge Crew wear. Hence, this is NOT AN OFFICER! A big -2 star for that.As for the blaster, officer's didn't use E-11s. They had smaller side arms like the DH-17 and MSP5. -1 star for that.Last, because they used the wrong clothing, they included a com pad on the left forearm. No officer had this... this was Bridge Crew, TIE Pilots, and Imperial Gunners. Hence, technically this character would be great as Imperial Bridge Crew, but not as an Officer.Don't these sculptors use Google, or watch the film?

Paid 22.49 for this and the package look like it came out of trash dump, bent and warp, and partially open, figure was fine but should have been told it was badly damaged package before i bought it.
