FunkoBlack Cosima Niehaus Pop Vinyl Figure Funko

My Cosima didn't have any bad obvious markings on it. She fits into her little plastic stand just fine, and can stand perfectly fine. That being said - I believe I am one of the lucky ones. I did buy a Felix from Orphan Black in a store, and I nearly decapitated him when trying to get him onto his little stand because the hole on his foot wasn't big enough to fit.Even though I love my Cosima, the paint job isn't the greatest, and I can't in good faith give any of these little Funko Pop figures five stars, because it seems like a majority of them are just bad quality. They really need to step up their game and maybe ***test*** the figures before their sold to make sure they fit the plastic easily and can actually stand up. That's a really big problem I've noticed with some of my figures and other reviewers. Their quality control just sucks. While I realize there are a butt ton of these things, I mean come on. If you're buried alive by returns because there's problems with your product, there's an issue there.I will definitely be buying a lot more of these guys in the future to fuel my growing addition to their cuteness in my house, but for any buyers, just remember: you're rolling a dice.

Super cute little Cosima! Perfect for an Orphan Black fan. The "324B21" on her book is an extra nice touch.Some other reviews mentioned that the figure is top-heavy and won't stand on its own, however, a tiny clear base with a peg is included in the box that takes care of this. Be sure to look carefully because the base is easy to miss, but it is definitely in there.

Funko POP Cosima is cute and my wife absolutely loves her. I did notices that the glasses has some smudging on the left lens, so that is the reason for the 4 stars, very nice and cute, but not perfect in the paint department. She does come with a clean plastic base, which is the only way she can stand up. I figure the wife is happy, so I'm happy. Original shipment was accidentally destroyed, and Amazon sent a replacement right away. Great addition to our growing collection of POPs.

Orphan Black is great, I love Cosima, but FunKo's line for them has a big flaw. Unlike other POP products that stand on their own, the Orphan Black line require an included clear plastic stand that has a nub that pushes into the character's foot (think G.I. Joe). This is because the head is the same size as other POP figures, but the body is much smaller. This is a poor design by FunKo and my Cosima still leans back while on the stand. That being said the design of the character is great in embodying her style.

Cosima's Pop Vinyl is true to her character. The design and details are pretty good (save for the cloudy glasses as other reviewers have noted). I'm exceptionally impressed with the way they did her hair. It looks very similar to her dreads/ponytail look that's so unique to her. The base keeps her from toppling over and is not very intrusive - quite small and hardly noticeable. Overall, I love this, but wish the glasses were not so cloudy.

I was late to the party in discovering Funko Pops. I had glanced at them on the shelves and thought "more plastic for the kids." After buying a few as gifts for my kids, I took a closer look and saw them in a different light. The cool thing (to me) about them is two fold. First, despite their minimalistic style they achieve almost immediate recognition just by the clothes and hair style - quite a feat in itself - relying on a person's imagination to fill in all the missing details. Second, the shear number of licenses that they create pops for means I can have a display of all my favorite films and television shows in one place and they will all have the same look about them - a comprehensive presentation rather than a hodgepodge collection that looks more like a stand at a flea market. I also love that Funko is producing figs for lesser known licenses (Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, Firefly, Mr Robot, Orphan Black, etc)So, why only 2 stars? If I fault Funk for anything it's the quality of the figs - specifically the paint. Cosima was a rarer figure, so I had to drop a little over $30 to get her (and make no mistake, however cool they are, they really are only worth somewhere in the $10-15 price range. Paying more for one rare piece once in a while is acceptable, but only to complete a set for something I really care about.) When she arrived, she had major cloudiness, glue smears and paint splatter on her glass lenses. The lack of quality control should embarrass the company who made it - but given how many people complain and the lack of any improvement, it appears Funko (as well as the retailers who carry their product) find it easier to simply pass the problem on to the end buyer.So, as a concept, I give Funko Pop! 5 stars.In terms of quality: 3-5 starsThat a company has such low regard for the quality of their own product and/or respect for their customers: 1 star.Overall rating: 2.5 stars

Cosima is super cute. I think she's my favorite out of the whole Funko Orphan Black line. Mine stands perfectly fine on her included stand. The only one out of this line that looks wobbly is my Helena. The only flaw I've noticed on mine is she has a small black speck on her eyeglass lens that won't rub off no matter how hard I try. I do wish Funko had some better quality control but I've got no complaints on this one.

It's hard to make non description faces actually look like the character, especially if they're clones. Cosima is all hair and does science well. The lab coat, glasses, and "dreads" are great.

pretty good quality, paint job was a little messy and the glasses are not centred. i don't think the big shipping fee is worth it since these are still available on the american amazon, but i didn't pay too much extra overall

The cutest thing ever! Everybody needs a tiny Cosima in their home. The quality is good. I'm very happy with this product.

Bought it for my boyfriend for Valentine's Day as he collected these and we both enjoy watching Orphan Black together so I'm hoping he'll love it but as the buyer I was thrilled with the state of the box and it looked perfect!
