Fresh and Tasty
We have been using this brand of dried figs in a bread recipe for about two years. (We chop the figs into small raisin-sized pieces.) The fits come in a resealable pouch, and the quality has been consistently good. Have encountered few, if any, stems. I would highly recommend this product.

Perfect blend between sweet and dry
These are amazingly good! They are so sweet, and not so dry that they are tough. They are the perfect blend between dry and sweet. I mention this because I know some people do no like dates are gooey. So if this is you, you don't have to worry. They are not gooey at all.

Wow! Delicious
The best figs available. They are very fresh, moist and delicious. Excellent quality and not too expensive.

Good value
When I first opened these and tried them I thought I wasted money. It had a smell, they were ridiculously soft and just mild flavor. I separated into smaller bags and put them in the fridge anyway with hopes that they would at least be more firm. That worked wonders! First day the texture was much better and the smell went away(must have been the bag). Second day the flavor was where it should be. I normally get made in nature ones from my grocery store which are great but the price is high and they have been having some qc issues as of late. These are a much better value and after separating/cooling they are delicious and perfect texture. Will be buying regularly

Exceeded expectations
My giant fig bush finished bearing so I had to still get my fig fix. These are delicious. I love figs fresh off the bush or dried well. These are perfect and just as good for bowel health. They are not soft and gooey like some. Make sure you buy some teeth picks at the same time. I have these on subscribe and save.

Taste is off on this bag
I buy these figs quite often. Usually they are excellent. Unfortunately the latest bag are no good. They are extremely hard and have an off taste.

exquisite figs!
We love these figs, enough so that I ordered for the third time recently - 5# each time. These taste firm, sweet, a bit chewy, all exactly what a dried fig should taste like. Yes, there are a few "brownies" that are tough to chew, fair enough, but we eat them anyway. These haven't lasted long enough in our household to test them for longevity in their sealed bag...but the big plan should they last too long is simply to freeze them and make jam of them...so no worries, we can do that, too! All in all, an excellent product at a goodish, fair price. Delicious and Good Quality
I was a little worried because of some of the reviews. But these were pretty good. You have to open the package, shake them around a bit and let them air out. Then keep them in a dry pantry and not in the fridge. But closed up so that the fruit flies don't find them. I also start by eating the nastiest looking ones first and working my way up to the better ones. But even the few that look spoiled are just more sugary. I have not gotten any that were rotten or moldy - and sometimes dried figs just look like they were transported in a leather satchel by camel across the desert - but they are okay for eating and recipes. I like Calimyrna figs to be somewhat tough and chewy, but not dried out. I have only found them that way at some isolated delicatessens. It's a crap shoot when you order them online. But the Anna & Sarah brand has proved to be pretty good (actually the best I have gotten online) and I have ordered them several times on Amazon.
