First of all this is gorgeous. I was looking for something beginner friendly and this one was great. It came with needles and all the thread I needed with extra left over. I definitely recommend this one and I’m gonna buy the other flowers they have!

I am getting back into embroidery again after a while. I bought this kit to re-learn the stitches and have a cute little piece that I could frame as my workroom is decorated in cherry blossoms. I would give a 3 for the cute pattern and the fabric is fairly decent, though the needles that come with the kit do leave noticeable holes sometimes and it tends to shed a bit with off-white fuzzies. I've worked with floss and thread for 40 years working in cross stitch, embroidery, and costume embellishments and this thread is horrible to work with. *Horrible.* It balls up and breaks when pulling it through the fabric, it tangles easy when pulling from the skein, and is not very cooperative about being split into strands of two. After pulling it through the fabric enough times it begins to fray and get fuzzy. This is NOT DMC thread, which thankfully they don't claim it to be. This pattern is cute enough that had I known I would have considered purchasing it and replacing the thread with comparable DMC since at least the pattern is already printed with the design, which saved time getting started. It does allow for some good practice other than the thread and the hoop has been fine....heavy plastic. Knowing what I know about the thread,

I really liked the design of this one. This was my first ever embroidery project, and I found the instructions helpful, though I did have to view some videos on youtube to supplement. Though I did feel like it was slightly overpriced, the hoop and the cloth seemed high quality. Would love if they offered more designs/thread in one kit.

My 15 year old daughter found these embroidery kits fun to do and helped pass the summer months during COVID-19 lockdown.

this is my very first attempt at embroidery. Frustrated to find that I did not receive all 6 of the correct colors. I received one color that is not part of the pattern, and one needed color was not included in the kit.

I really liked the pattern and the fact that the kit was fully equipped.It also came with a small handbook about different embroidery stitches which I thought was super helpful.It looks like an appropriate kit for beginners.

This was my favorite embroidery project I've done so far. I love all the different stitches it uses. The finished product is so beautiful. It's hanging on my wall.
