John FluevogWomen's Johnston Monk Strap Flat

....the elastic in the heel area helps. This is the first time buying John Fluevog's shoes but I have visited the store in Georgetown and just love the quirkiness of the shoes. The designs are so cute and fun -- my feet are 'happy' because I am a serious 'shoeholic'. I brought these originally in a size 9 but did a return for a 1/2 size up given the narrowness of the shoe (same with another pair but will still use a show stretcher on these because these run even narrower then my other two pair). The leather is so soft and the shoe is just right for my blue jean days - so tired of sneakers, slides and flip flops. Absolutely love these especially the color. Hope they give more as I wear them.

These shoes are well made and adorable. Unfortunately, the strap across the top is too short. I don't think I have abnormally "tall" feet, but I could not get the strap over the top of my foot. Really too bad, I was looking forward to wearing them.

The shoes are in very good quality. However, they are two narrow! I usually wear 4.5 or 5 and I'm slim with 90 lbs, but I can hardly put these shoes on. I don't know if the shoes will fit me or not if I buy 0.5 or 1 size larger. But I don't think so. The shoes then will be too long! Bad design. I have to return them.

The shoes were advertised as NEW, but the toes of both shoes are discolored, as if they'd been scuffed. Since it's a very distinct shade of blue, it won't be easy to match the dye. In other words, they're damaged.
