An easy, hassle free process. Worth the money
Easy and hassle free. So glad I spent the money on this. Was able to get a refund on a non-repairable item in less than 24 hours with little to no effort on my part!

Great protection for your items
Asurion was fast acting and reimbursed me with an Amazon gift card for my product. I've never had any issues with their coverage and they have been fair.

Valued Purchase
My top of the line Panasonic Blu-Ray Player came with a 1 year warranty. I had a problem with it 2 months after I purchased it and I used the troubleshooting procedure in its operation manual to fix it. The same problem occurred 2-3 months later and the trouble shooting procedure did not work the second time. I requested warranty service through Panasonic's specific "blu-ray player" warranty service provider and was informed that the warranty only covered labor costs for 90 days. In addition to labor costs I would have to pay a $50 diagnostic charge and a $15 shipping charge for returning the unit after the repair was completed. So my Panasonic 1 year warranty really turned out to be a 90 day warranty. I never expected anything to go wrong with this blu-ray player within the first year; however, I decided to buy the Asurian 3-year product insurance plan because the blu-ray player was a very expensive purchase to begin with. I had no problems when submitting a claim with Asurion. The claim process was easy and I was able to ship the unit in for repair on the same day I submitted my repair request online. The unit was repaired and returned to me within 2 weeks so I am a happy customer. I recommend everyone look closely at any warranty that comes with a costly purchase; you may find out that it isn't what you expected.

Better than having to replace it
They fixed and quickly. They just returned the Meta Quest 3 VR without the face padding

Protection Well Worth It!
Great protection to have on your expensive products. Had several issues with 1 specific outside camera & all was taken care of. The last issue was unrepairable & still under the agreement we purchased, so we were given full refund per Amazon gift certificate. Reps were very easy to speak with & emails were constant to keep us updated on repairs.

Happy and sad !
Very fast decision was made. I was happy wasn’t a long process. But I sent my mounting bracket with my projector and had to buy another. I did remember buying it separately. Thank you

Asurion takes the money and will not help unless forced
I received my Meta Quest 3 on 03/02/2026 after repair for storage corruption - it was bricked when I sent it out. It was repaired enough to start up again. Upon first power-up, the pass through cameras were severely horizontally misaligned, making the core component of mixed reality unusable. I performed a full factory reset and boundary reset, but the issue persisted. An hour after this, the device ceased to function in the same original manner which was the reason for my first repair attempt - bricked again. Because this defect was present immediately upon return, the device was delivered in defective condition. This constitutes a failed repair under California’s Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act (Civil Code §1793.1). I called to inform Asurion of this defect and the law that protects me as a consumer. It took multiple calls - I was disconnected, ignored, passed from person to person, and also misinformed. I was initially told that I had to send it back again for "evaluation". This is not the case under the CA law. Because my Meta Quest 3 was unusable on first power-up after the service, requiring me to send it back again for evaluation is considered unreasonable and delays my legal right to a proper remedy. The law allows me to request replacement immediately, rather than another repair, because it was not a minor defect — the device was completely unusable. I requested a full replacement of the device rather than another repair attempt, as repeated service on a unit returned defective is not a reasonable remedy. A replacement device was made available nor were they willing to send the money to replace it. Asurion eventually acquiesced, but it took several more calls where I told them about the CA law and they sent the call to a supervisor who made a note in the file, then they told me the request was under review and it would be 2-3 business days. This went on for a full month before I was finally given the cost of the unit so that I could purchase a replacement. Here is a breakdown of the cost to me for a replacement: Meta Quest 3 = $499.99 California sales tax = $48.75 Cost of replacement coverage = $60.99 Total cost of an equal replacement is $609.73 I was only reimbursed for $499.99, So I was still out over $100 to replace the unit - not to mention the considerable delays, stress, and time involved in calling for help so many times. It seems to me that Asurion would have been very happy having me send the unit back and forth forever as they failed to repair it, wasting my time even more. Or they would have been happy if I gave up and failed to follow up. They certainly had no intent to follow up with me about the case. They never called me once - all attempts to resolve the situation was only me calling them. Asurion is not in the business of covering my product to help me make sure I have a usable item for as long as coverage lasts - they are in the business of taking my money and trying to avoid paying me even when the situation and the contract as well as the law demands that that do.
