Each card has a tip on the back on how to use it in a sentence that goes along with the picture to help you when working with your child. These have definitely helped my son remember his sight words due to the pictures. I like that on the back the word is also printed in plain text without the picture so you can practice with your child to make sure they really know the word.

I work with young students with learning disabilities. These cards are helping my students learn their sight words faster than ever before. Some students just need some practice with the visual image that surrounds and represents the word, others use the short phrase given as a mnemonic device, and a few use the kinesthetic action to help. One student could only remember the word "a" after a year of work before these cards, but a few months after these cards and the student now knows 11 words.
