GM Genuine Parts 213-96 (10456126) Knock Sensor

This is an exact OEM replacement for the knock sensor in our wake boat. It's a 2004 MasterCraft X30 with the 5.7L MCX 350hp engine. It fit perfectly and is working as it should.

This is the original factory replacement knock sensor for the indmar monsoon 340 that’s in our Malibu wakesetter. Great quality and made a big difference in the way our boat runs. These are essentially a microphone that is tuned to a specific frequency that detects knock and adjusts the engine timing accordingly. They become less sensitive overtime so even though you don’t get a code thrown, replacing them is needed. Our boat has 400 hours on it any the stock one was shot.

I tried 4 different brands of knock sensor for my truck and the AC Delco were the ONLY ones not defective out of the box. Save yourself the trouble of taking your entire intake manifold off 4 times like I did and troubleshooting for months and just get the more expensive sensor.

Worked perfectly and resolved my issue. When it comes to knock sensors be sure to buy original equipment or your check engine light will not go away with the aftermarket sensors.

Well, I just can't say enough good things about this knock sensor. It was a direct replacement for my prior knock sensor that had seen better days. This replacent came nicely packaged in a small cardboard box of exceptionaly quality, affording extra protection from the bumps it must have received during it's perilous journey from Mexico, it's birthplace. But the protection didn't end there as it was delicately wrapped in a sealed plastic wrapper, protecting it from dust intrusion into the box and a cornicopia of other possible infectious elements. The cadmium plating is a third level of protection during its life down in the bowls of my engine compartment, protecting it from rust and spray. While I fully expect it to weather, in its new state it looks almost jewel like, reflecting a very high intrinsic value. If you need a new knock sensor, PLEASE, don't look any further. This mechanical beauty is also a work of art, certain to please the most discriminating connoiseurs of knock sensors. You won't be disappointed! I had to come back and take off one star. It only last a few years where the original lasted 9 years. I bought another one and it works flawlessly but they should last longer. Still the best knock sensor I've ever purchased....because it's the only one I've ever purchased! Ha Ha

I purchased an after-market product initially and the check engine light stayed on. After replacing the after-market part with this OEM product the light stays off.

This part caused our boat to have the check engine light to go off continuously. We attempted multiple adjustments and a very costly trip to a boat repair shop. We purchased an identical part from another seller and now the boat works great. Unfortunately we did NOT get to return this in the time frame b/c the boat was in the repair shop for a while b/c of this faulty part.

ACDelco always take to long to guet.Odered it 17 may delivery date 26 jun . Last time i by there product, also they are way to expensive and not better

Prior to installation i chased the threads in the engine block, with minimal effort the threads stripped - had to install the old unit back in the block - over all not impressed
