The Evolve Organic Beauty - Cotton Fresh Natural Deodorant Cream has a solid texture in the jar but is easily applied with your fingertips. The cream has light buttery aroma with a freshness that’s not at all overpowering. One slight point is that on my box it states that the cream is 100% natural origin and 69.9% organic but in the pictures of the product the label gives the stats as 99% natural origin and 61.5% organic!!

First impressions were great - the product comes beautifully packaged in a glass jar, and the scent is subtle but very pleasant. It's easy to apply, but does it takes a while to absorb. It's good for day to day wear, but not sure it's sufficient for exercise. The ingredients are very good but it is quite expensive for the small size of the product. Due to cost and convenience I'll probably stick to a normal roll on in future.

INGREDIENTS:I noticed that the full ingredients list is not currently on this listing page, so here it is for anyone who like me, likes seeing everything in a product:Ingredients:Zea Mays (Corn) Starch, Sodium bicarbonate, Caprylic/ capric triglyceride, Butyrospermum parkii (Shea) butter, Maranta arundinacea (Arrowroot) root powder, Kaolin, Glycerin, Parfum (Naturally Derived fragrance), Theobroma cacao seed butter, Helianthus annuus (Sunflower) seed oil, Salvia officinalis (Sage) Oil, Sodium caproyl / lauroyl lactylate, Tocopherol, Triethyl citrate.After already using this for a little while, I noticed that I somehow missed that this contains Kaolin which is a clay made from aluminium silicate - so does that mean this deodorant does contain aluminium afterall? Also with natural clays like kaolin, there's always a slight risk it can contain trace amount of heavy metals. For this reason I don't think I will be continuing to use this product unfortunately. But I'll put here the rest of the review that I wrote before I realised it contained kaolin...It comes in a glass jar. The dark glass protects the fats from oxidising, and glass is great because it won't leach anything into the mix.PRODUCT:It's a small pot. 30ml isn't a lot, but it should last a while since you only use a little each time. The "cream" is extremely thick and dry-feeling since it's largely made of solid fats that are very hard and solid at room temperature in the colder months of the year. It doesn't scoop up very easily - you have to really get your finger in there to get a little to rub off. A tip is if you have a little wooden spatula handy, it makes scooping this up easier.IN USE:When you rub it in, it's a little bit grainy / gritty / crumbly and takes a little while to fully absorb. Do take care that you rub it in well and that it absorbs well because fats can potentially stain your clothing with wet-looking grease-marks.If you don't shave your underarms, it's harder to rub in. It works best with clear underarms.Having given this to my housemates to try as well, I've found that whether it keeps smells at bay varies from person to person. For some this works well, for others less so. You don't know until you try!SMELL:It smells sweet, reminding me of candies, bubblegum and sweets. It's definitely is one for the girls, not for the boys since it's quite a feminine scent. It smells nice. Not sickly sweet - just right.

This works for me. The smell is very subtle and it was easy to apply. It reminds me of the deodorant that Lush used to do years ago but don't now which I was gutted about. A bigger test for this will be in the summer when the weather is hotter of course but it's great now.

This is slightly gritty, more of a paste than a cream. However, it works well... it spreads easily, a little goes a long way, and the scent is very subtle and fresh.After wearing it overnight to sleep, I woke up still fresh and dry, with no skin irritation or sensitivity I sometimes get from alcohol based deodorants.Light enough to be used in several areas, it did not leave any white marks or stains
