The Anti-Theft feature in Avast Mobile Security allows you to connect to your lost or stolen device and execute several commands remotely (including getting the location of the phone) from your Avast Account. You cannot control a missing device unless the following requirements are met:

- The device is turned on and connected to the internet.
- The Anti-Theft feature is enabled on the device.
- The device is paired with an Avast Account.

However, the Anti-Theft feature will be removed from Avast Mobile Security for Android in the future as our research and comprehensive review showed that Avast Anti-Theft is not offering enough value to our customers when compared to Android’s native feature called Find My Device. Due to its direct integration with the system, Find My Device provides better functionality and user experience. We have therefore decided to decommission Avast Anti-Theft in the future and focus on other features that will provide our customers with advanced protection.
