Waterproof RJ45 Coupler, Female to Female, Shielded, Field Installable

VPI are the only ones that have shielded versions that are supremely straightforward to install, with very good build quality. We've been using these for years. VPI (and their sister company NTI i think?) have awesome products. You get what you pay for. These things appear expensive, but we're in an ocean environment 24/7/365; and these things won't fail.

These work great and are exactly like advertised. I just think they cost too much. They should really be about 1/2 what they are.

I've been making this type of outdoor waterproof RJ45 connector out of metal conduit bodies and cable gland fittings for years. I use them for all of our surveillance cameras. So much easier and lighter weight to use this product!

super rugged and just awesome. kind of big, so don't plan on fitting it in a single gang box not even sure about a double gang. overall solid product

Easy to install. Works great. Cost is Okay. I have used two of these with ease and no failures so far. I use them on outside security camera connections.

Mine quickly broke and it never kept water out, your better off just splicing a line, soldering and shrink wrapping it. This coupler failed after 45 days of use outside.

If you need a shielded, weatherproof RJ45 coupler, this is a good one. Comes with extra threads on one end and a nut to secure it if you are using it to pass a CAT5e cable through a bulkhead wall. Makes the transition through the wall nice and weatherproof. My cable qualifier says they will pass GigE. Your mileage may vary.
