It's a 10 key keypad that has a standard keyboard layout without any oddly placed special keys, which is pretty important for touch typists. The build quality is mediocre, with most keys having a loose wobbly feel, but for this price that's expected. The keys are laptop style scissor-switch keys. Whether you like them would be up to personal preference. As the product title says, this keypad has a slim profile, which in practice means it may be lower than the keyboard/laptop you're using and may take a little getting used to (unless you have a slim laptop, of course). I really appreciate this, because they realized how SIMPLE this product actually should be, and are giving you full functionality without overcharging you for extra stuff. Good (enough) quality - I don't expect it to keep working after getting run over by a bus or anything, but it doesn't feel like its going to break anytime soon. The clip, despite being only thin metal, works great and won't fall off.The cable is the perfect length to wrap around to the other side of your laptop and plug in on the left side. The stand kicks up to match a keyboard fairly well. I took mine on tour around the U.K. and it still works great after use and abuse for 6 months. Most definitely worth its low price.

This small usb keypad is a good bargain.I had no trouble connecting it to multiple systems and its worked as expected.The keys are typical of most PC keyboards I've used and are very functional.The only negative is the stand is a simple metal "wire" and looks like it might bend given too much force.For $11 though I do recommend this product.

I wanted this product to complete my math homework so it's ok for the basic use which is using the numbers. Another reason I bought this product is because I hate using my laptop to type special symbols pressing the FN key then the NUM LK and them pressing them again to use the letters instead. I thought that this product would work when pressing the ALT key to type special symbols but it didn't so It didn't completely work for me.Plus I contacted customer service and they were rude to me...

i had one almost like this one. I wanted this product to complete my College homework or other work so it is great for the basic use which is using the numbers. Another reason I bought this product is because I hate using my laptop to type special symbols pressing the FN key then the numbers or using the top numbers. i do not like to pressing them again to use the letters instead. i would like this on the side of my laptop. the next laptop or notebook will have one.

Eh. It's okay, but I wish that it was heavier or had a rubber bottom so that it would sit still instead of sliding all over my desk. It's very light, so it almost feels like it's bouncing a tiny bit when you type. I like the fact that it has a normal sized zero button, though. Most keypads have a "0" and a "00" button, which I was trying to avoid since my regular keyboard doesn't have that (wouldn't want to mess up my "flow" lol).

I cannot get used to using this product. It is akward to use. I do like the clip on the bottom that gives it a raise. It would be really cool if there were some sort of device that attaches it to the bottom of the laptop while using it. Some little rubber feet or something to stop slipping would be grat too. I have to say it is great for accounting class and accounting homework.
