Easelife is the best!!!
First off, I received the wrong product - a large mirror instead of barn door hardware. Return of the mirror was EZ through Amazon, and Easelife stayed in touch with me through regular emails until I received the correct product. Their customer service was most excellent. Secondly, the stainless steel barn door hardware was also excellent. Not only was the hardware top-notch, strong, and nice looking, it was fairly easy for me to customize to my exact needs. Installing it was simple and straight-forward. I own a remodeling business and I will definitely be ordering this product again.

Great quality for the price
I was very impressed with the quality of this product. Wasn’t sure how nice the product would be since it was almost 1/2 the price of our local big box store. It has a good weight to it and seems very sturdy. The installation was easy as well but I would recommend 2 people to make it easier.

Great value and product - can be a little tricky to install
I've installed a few internal barn doors in my house, and I love these - I installed 2 of these n my master suite (bathroom and closet). They look great work very well and are very reasonably priced. The stop mechanism is easily adjustable and there is a soft close mechanism that can be purchased separately that also works great. The installation can be a little tricky as it requires very precise measurements. But overall, I am very pleased.

Good, but not great, barn door kit
Finished installing this system a few weeks ago and have been using it ever since. So far working great, doors slide without any issues. Overall this kit works pretty well and the price was more than reasonable. There are a few issues I should mention though: 1. This kit was built using the metric system which is fine for most of the world but an issue if you live in the US and the studs in your wall are 16 inches apart and not 500mm. We where able to overcome this by installing a piece of board on the studs and then drilling the support brackets into the board. Don’t think it looks bad or detracts from the ascetics but you might feel differently. The picture shows the white board we used (about $6 at Home Depot) 2. Our kit was for 10ft if railing since we had two doors to install. The railings came in two sections of 5ft each. This means you have to perfectly measure everything if you want them to line correctly and make it look as if you only have one 10ft railing. There is no connecting bracket to attach both pieces. I was able to get them line up pretty close but there is probably a 1cm gap or so between them. Very hard to see it or notice but if you have a perfectionist spouse like me get ready to spend an extra hour or two trying to get them perfectly aligned. 3. The guiding bracket that goes on the floor to keep your doors from rubbing the walls didn’t work for us. Unless you bought precut barn doors you have to cut a channel on the bottom of the doors into which the guiding bracket will slide into. You also have to drill this bracket into your floor which may be a deal breaker for some, we didn’t want to do this since we have carpet. There are several alternative brackets that you can attach to the wall that I personally fell work and look better (about $20 each on Amazon) but again that might not be an issue for someone else. 4. The instructions are not the best. Ours where clearly design for someone who bought their 5-6ft kit since it doesn’t mention having two rods or how to align them. We found a few videos on YouTube and that was much better than trying to figure out the instructions. Overall though this is a good kit. Very solid construction and as long as your have moderate skills you should be able to get it installed. I feel that it would probably work best if you only have one door vs two because of the previously mentioned rod coming in two pieces.

Very happy with our choice
We could not find the barn door and hardware solution that was the right size and met our design needs. Ended up getting the door we wanted at Home Depot, and then found this great rail kit here at Amazon. Its VERY well made, is very sturdy and if you have some do it yourself skills you should find the install pretty easy. We did decide to run a 1 x 6 across the top since studs did not line up and I think that will be the case most times. Only compliant is that the measurements in the instructions are metric so you have to convert to inches/

THE WORST DIRECTIONS
I would like to extend the deepest and most heartfelt F*** YOU to whoever made these directions! Not only were the steps all over the place (see pic) but clearly no one made an attempt to follow it to see if all the information was complete. The rail can't be held up in one piece to verify the holeplacments lined up and it doesn't account for the 3/8 in difference the middle attachment makes which throws off the holes for half the brackets. As a result of the rail being incapable of mounting in one piece I couldn't get most of the holes to line up at all. The pictures are also soooooo small you can't see most of the examples. Also, this kit requires a routing tool to install the floor guide so if you don't have that, then you're screwed. This kit was not worth my time or money because I ended up doing way more damage to my wall to not be able to use the damn thing in the end

Not an easy install router required!
Not an easy install as advertised. Requires a router to notch door or a seperate purchase of a floor guide.

Looks perfect on the wall
This install is not for the non-mechanically inclined, but doable. The trick is to leave the brackets snug but not tight as you are installing. The rail is super secure once the screws are put into the brackets. The finished product looked much better than the farmhouse flat stock black hardware that is so prevalent when thinking of a barn door.
