#20s Church: Open Your Ministry to the Power of a Generation (Church Unique Intentional Leader Series)

Road Trip! Learning from the stories of a 20-something's journey across America
As the parent of 4 young adults (2 20-somethings & 2 early 30-somethings) AND a consultant serving the Church, I really resonate with the premise behind Heather Stevens' new book "#20s Church." Every church leader both hears and often utters the cry, "we've got to do something or we're going to lose the young generation." What's true in 2015 was no less true in 1975 - and probably true in 1915."#20s Church" is a quick, 2-part read: the first is the stories Heather and her friends discovered on their journey, and the second is a simple guide for church leaders as they seek to apply the wisdom they read from Heather. But while "#20s Church" has its origins and main purpose rooted in the perspective of the 20-something generation, the message is much more powerful: "20-somethings aren't the Church of tomorrow, we're a part of the Church of today. Showing us that we are valued isn't being selfish, it's making sure the Church models the full expression of the Kingdom of God."That's a 20-something exhibiting wisdom far beyond her years, and frankly laying down a challenge that church leaders - of all ages - need to take up and make happen.#20s Church is valuable not only as a road trip through America's churches, but is doubly valued with the contributions of Will Mancini in Part Two as he provides three "next steps" for church leaders to take the stories found in Part One and apply them in their own church.I encourage church leaders to journey along with Heather and Will as they view today's Church in America through the eyes of a 20-something - and then take up the challenge to "...make a difference. After all, the Kingdom is at stake."

Helping everyone belong.
Seeing as 20(year old) somethings are leaving the church at a fast pace, this was a great book on helping understand some of the reasoning possibly why that is happening. It was a short easy book to read which went straight to the point. The five points are pretty standard and straight forward for most, but even more stressed for 20's now.

If your church is not reaching the 20's generation then here is a resource.
Well written by a young women with a passion for the success of church's reaching out to her age group. Her travels across America to visit church's that do this well is very informative.
