one of the two decals had excessive glue on the transfer tape, after removing the transfer tape I had glue on a motor cycle tank that was getting clear coat. the alcohol and water mix I used to get the glue cleaned up removed all the dye on the decal. ended up checking the other one with gas, same thing as the alcohol , removed the dye. cost me a lot of work and money just to start all over again. who wants a tank decal that you can't get gas on. not sure if the clear coat would have dissolved the color or not but I'm guessing yes. too bad because the decal looks great!
