Our previous iron, also a Russell Hobbs, lasted forever, and several drops onto a hard surface, once time even cracking the exterior. But, unfortunately, due to the punishment it eventually died.I chose this one because my previous iron lasted so long, and also iron my clothes to an acceptable standard (no/hugely reduced creases). It's a similar size, holds the same amount of water for all the steamy and spray options, and gets all hot on the right bit for clothes flattening processes.It works really well, my previous had a ceramic plate while this is stainless steel, but it glides across effortlessly and makes a nice hot bubbling and fwooosh as it does so.I'm happy, so far, so good!

Nice little steam iron. Easy to use and good value for money, but the cord could have been a little longer (it was shorter than my old iron) and although the purple colour is very striking it makes the reservoir level very hard to read for anyone with less than perfect eyesight (like me!)

I still keep pouring water all over the ironing board rather than in the iron because I can’t remember which way up the iron should be when filling it. Ironing with it is easy but the chord is quite short.

A good iron for the price but as it is quite lightweight you do have to iron some clothes with deeper creases more than once, but overall a good value iron .

Happy with my Iron but find the cord to short to reach to iron properly without the inconvenience of moving my ironing board.

Nice iron but a small baseplate. Lightweight. Easy Does the job. However cord is very short so not much room to iron. Would be easier to use with a longer cord

I hate ironing !! I love folding which I try to do very carefully!! To avoid ironing !! This iron is great a big plus for everything it has a large tank for water you can fill it from the tap!! It starts steaming straight away and I steam through the ironing in no time at all (excuse the Pun 😂) great iron great price happy customer so it’s a thumbs up from me 👍
