Worked perfect on my Volvo Penta 5.0GL

I purchased this as a spare for my Volvo Penta drive. It is exactly the parts that I needed and is an exact replacement for the OEM parts.

Did not like the 1/8 inch cotter key. Way to loose in my application. I prefer 5/32 cotter key.

I bought this set to replace my prop. Everything was a perfect fit, no issues. I bought a second set and zip tied it to my prop wrench in case I need to switch to my spare prop. Cheap piece of mind if you had to change out props in the water. you know your gonna drop something.....

The parts are great quality, but I felt the price was a little high. The washer is thicker than I would have liked because it is would not let me insert the cotter pin without drilling the washer out a little to make room for it. Hindsight - I would have probably not not have bought this but because there are splines that I needed to put a washer over, I got this. I probably could have just gone to hardware store to buy a stainless nut and washer, but I thought I would get a good nut to use with a new prop. It works just fine.
