Edit... leakproof but you need to be so careful as my 14yo found out in school when it opened slightly if you can live with that it has many other positives... creative fun design, sturdy, easy to clean, compact size and so on... would make a great gift.

While the idea of a self decorative water bottle is a brilliant idea the quality of the decorations to stick on failure it A good water bottle for everyday use without the decorative look, but the add on to give it the look your little one picks aren't so practical First applications of the stickers are fine but after a few days, washes they start to peal away, and as every parent, grand parent, heck anyone around kids knows things when pealing get pulled of This then leave the joy and time spent creating the look more like a jigsaw with missing pieces

My granddaughter had so much fun decorating her bottle this weekend. She LOVES crafts BUT has a limited attention span even though she is 8. This was perfect allowing her to decorate her water bottle the way she wanted it for school without being overly complicated or taking long time. This is great for a visit at grandma's!! The kit comes with plenty of choices of stickers, gems etc for them to create a personalized and individual bottle. I love the fun color choices and she liked the bright purple. She is so excited to use it, i believe she will take care of it and even said she plans to wash it herself. (I would only hand wash this bottle.) It's sad but kids are tough and she often doesn't want to take or wear things she has made to school, but THIS she is very proud of and can't wait to take to school. I will update over time how well the decorations stay on but for this weekend they held great! This gift is well worth the price and made our weekend!
