I would not purchase these if I needed them every day as they are all fabric with no plastic scuff plates on the knees. But they are very comfortable and worked very well over the three days we tiled our floor. Highly recommend them for the DIY project. The only con is that they do not "breathe" very well, so you really can work up a sweat after a few hours of use. (sweat drips down your legs) I put mine in the washing machine on a delicate cycle then air dried them and they came out perfect. Worth the investment.

I bought these because we are building cabinets and I am on the floor a lot. I have had knee surgery so I need something to protect my knees I have not really cleaned my floors the way I want them clean in awhile. I will be cleaning my floors again since I got these knee pads I am going to get a lot of use out of these. They are not just for carpentry and plumbing uses If you have had knee surgery or knee replacements you need these If you want to not have knee replacements or knee surgery you need these to protect your knees. I recommend getting these knee pads

I got them for my husband they were a little stiff in fitting but otherwise worked fine so far.

First, let me say that the 3 star rating is not taking price into consideration. For the price, I have not found anything better. That really isn't saying a ton though seeing as they are just $15. First, while I think it is a cool idea, the tool pouches are completely worthless to me. I don't think they lasted more than 2 minutes attached before I had to remove them. They just added unneeded bulk and wouldn't have even been that convenient if I put stuff in them. The straps are pretty typical and pinched the back of my knees since I was wearing shorts. I wasn't surprised here, but was hoping they would have found away to avoid that. My biggest issue with them was that they really felt more like foam rubber and not gel padding inside. I wouldn't say they felt comfortable on my knees at all. And while still better than nothing, one of my knees was still bruised at the end up day. Lastly, I can't fault the pads for this since they aren't hard plastic, but at one point a 1" carpet padding staple impaled itself on one of the pads and managed to penetrate all the way through and kept poking me until I finally saw it embedded in there.

I am not in construction, but am a very active homeowner and gardener and as I age, I've been feeling the need to protect my knees more and more. These pads are serious knee protection and though a bit bigger than I expected (not complaining!), they are versatile and functional for housework and yardwork alike. Sure, I may look ready to lay tile when I'm just cleaning the floor, but my knees thank me for it!

Won't stay on place

I am a painter of 20 yrs These r very comfortable and lightweight love when I am doing sheetrock repairs everything I needs is right there!! Bout time I found some damn good knee pads on my pai ting journey!!

I was so excited about these because of the really great idea of the pockets, but unfortunately the knee pads keep creeping down my leg and I'm constantly having to adjust them. And when I do, the top strap gets twisted and it's just a huge pain in the butt. Won't be wearing these anymore :(
