Simple and Easy to Use
This "Palm Cushion", as we call it in our household, is used for my mother. She suffered a stroke 12 years ago and has very limited use and movement on the right side of her body (her right arm and hand are immobile). This "palm cushion" provides comfort and support for my mother's right hand and fingers. Additionally, it also prevents her fingernails from digging into her palm and breaking the skin. Perhaps the one drawback of this product is how easily it could fall out of her hand, however, the strap on the palm cushion is not designed to be that tight or it will be uncomfortable for wearer. Other than that, it's a solid product for those individuals like my mother.

Holds it’s position
It holds its position and is comfortable for me it could be just a little bigger and firmer as I have really long fingers otherwise it’s wonderful

Great for elder hand contractures
My elder in a nursing wears them half a day when hand splints are not in use. Likes that they can move fingers around, yet keep the contractures of fingers at a good comfort level, with thumb separated. Soft to touch, yet has firmness so contractures dont squish it. Able to use a magic marker on the white band to put their name on it. Got the small size for a petite elder. The white band is a bit loose, design would be better if this was adjustable, using maybe a velcro closure .Washable in a mesh bag, or by hand. Air dried. I got an extra set, because sometimes one gets lost in the nursing home laundry, and I have extra to replace until the other is found, or when I'm washing one set.

Super easy to keep your hand open with it, and with or without the strap.
Super easy to keep your hand open with it, and with or without the strap. If you have moderate or severe spasticity in your hand, just buy it, as it will help you, unlike most things on the market for your stroke-affected hand! Much better than all those tennis balls, smiley face balls, and flat plastic hand torture devices, as I bought them over the last 3 years or so. They are well worth $12.99, just for the convenience of them gently keeping your fingers open,in my case, nearly 24 hours a day.I had to get the large size as I have extra-large man hands that match my size 15 feet.I said that in case you are like me, a pre-50yo 6'2'' naturally muscled guy.

So soft
My brother has contractions in his hands from cerebral palsy. His hands are in a fist position and sometimes his fingernails will push into his skin. These really help to keep his fingernails from digging into his skin as well as keeping his hand muscles open. They are very soft and very comfortable. I don’t put the strap on him as it puts a bit too much pressure on the top of his hand but they are fine to use without the strap.
