It looks simple but it is magically attractive to a lot of baby and toddlers. My girl got the chance to play with this similar toy in the children’s museum at 1 year old. And I found her for the first time focused on one toy for over 20 minutes until the museum was closed. Immediately I came back home and looked for similar peg toy on Amazon, and bought this one for her. She has been loving it since I got it. And I bring this peg toy when play date with other 1 to 2 year kids, they all love it. What a magic toy! Strongly recommend for the kids under 2 to practice their fine motor and focus.

I've given this as a gift for toddlers several times. Always a sho stealer. Kids of all ages end up engaging in fun play. Learning is inevitable.

This is one of our favorite toys! We’ve played with them on the side of the pool, in the bathtub and in the playroom! They dry easily and keep my little ones occupied for good chunks of time!

I had this toy, well something just like it for my daughter. I purchased this peg set over 30 years ago. I still have most of the pieces and board but I wanted a complete set for my granddaughter. I put down the 4 star review above before my granddaughter used it. This peg set is a waste of money. The board is made of flimsy mat like material. The pegs are very hard to put in for that reason. My granddaughter is 2 1/2 years old. Under my supervision for safety I will say that I as an adult had a hard time putting the pegs into the board. Do not bother with this product.

Worked great for functional play and fine motor!

My toddler really loves this toy! So I do recommend it but just know the tray is foam. I didn’t read it clearly so I wasn’t expecting that. I worry it won’t last very long and it’s also really hard to press the pegs into the foam. I have to get it started since my toddler can’t do it on her own. I was also disappointed that the foam was already dented and had black marks like it was dirty right when I opened from the box. However, If you buy knowing it’s foam and you get a new looking one than I do think it’s a fun toy and good for developmental learning.

Our occupational therapist recommended this purchase, and I fully attribute my son learning to grasp small objects to this peg toy set. There's just something about the pegs and foam, my little guy couldn't resist pulling the pegs out, which also worked on hand-eye coordination and strengthening his hand grip! Great buy, would purchase a thousand times over.
