My son and daughter love these kits. Excellent value for 4 projects. Best STEM kit I've found.
tl;dr; I'm going to see if this company makes other kits like this. I want to buy more. I've bought a decent number of STEM 'kits' to do with my son and daughter. This is easily the best one. All the projects can be done in less than an hour and include everything required (including small screwdrivers). The best part is that you actually end up with something my kids enjoy using. Not just putting on a shelf to look at. The bubble machine makes *a lot* of bubbles. My daughter and her friends completely ran through every bottle of bubble solution we had in 1 day. She is also into art and has loved figuring out all the different patterns you can get the 'art robot' to do by shifting the weight around by changing the lengths of the markers. The one thing I will say is that I wouldn't get this for a kid under 8. The recommended age range is about right. And for younger (8-9) makers you'll want to make sure they have assistance from an adult. Mostly for some small screws and wiring up some of the motors. Most of the motors have small holes that you need to thread the wire through and then twist around.

Excellent for developing fine motor coordination
I purchased this product to develop the motor skills of a seven-year-old. I'm fed up with spending $50 on one lego set that he builds within an hour. The robot kits were a huge success and kept him busy for a week. The screws are small and he needed to hold the screwdriver in place to assemble the nut, but he mastered the technique and loved the challenge. The kits became fun toys in our household. He is bragging now to his friends when he shows them the funny robot car driving around, and the bubble blower.

Worth it for STEM project
GREAT Summer Stem Project. 1) HORRIBLE instructions are a PRO and CON. Kids will need help deciphering, but it’s great way to build troubleshooting skills. 2) Can be easily assembled and disassembled for troubleshooting or making your own projects. 2) Engineering mentality REQUIRED by parent and/or child. Not for everyone one. Built this with a 4 yr old little girl actively helping with full discussion in under 30 min. It’s definitely doable and rewarding for child.

Perfect! Make more products like this!
It was bought as a summer camp kit for my daughter. She had a lot of fun and gained many skills. The photo instructions were a little vague but this helped her figure out the rest on her own as part of the learning process. We are waiting for the company to make more STEM kits like this for us to buy!

Missing/nonfunctional pieces
At least one piece from each kit was nonfunctional or missing. This kit is advertised for 8+ but my 9 yr old does not have the dexterity to put tiny nuts on a tiny screw while holding the pieces together. The instructions are very poor. IKEA has better assembly instructions, to put it simply. I have a lot of experience in mechanical assembly and this is not something I would recommend for a 9 yr old. The missing and nonfunctional pieces are also really discouraging. Example: Was missing a gear shaft for one of the vehicle robots. The base plate for the bubble machine was uneven because of the screws sticking out of the bottom after assembly. Some of the holes weren’t beveled out to allow for screw install.

Great STEM toy, great gift!
Arrived just in time for my son’s BD. I have to say between all the presents he got- he loves this one the most. I also love it because it makes him sit! And not in front of the screen... he follows the instructions slowly and focusing so nicely by himself! And there are four different robots so it really is a very very nice gift!

so exciting- kids loved it!!
Kids were thrilled when they saw the cool and exciting package. Its educational, down to details kept them busy and happy. This product is extremely satisfying once completing assembling the robots and starting to play with them. Our kids loved the idea of building something from scratch and seeing the final product working. Its a huge success in our house and highly recommend it.
