Use them alone, or as a hybrid addition to your gym workouts, and start to tap into the power of PowerBlocks. The first brand to create adjustable dumbbells, PowerBlock was an industry pioneer. We challenged the world’s definition of how a dumbbell worked and what it should look like. Decades later, we’re the only expandable dumbbell trusted in elite training rooms and facilities. The PowerBlock Elite dumbbells are one of the highest-rated and best-selling sets of all time. PowerBlock uses only premium-quality materials. Thanks to their smart and ergonomic design, PowerBlocks are extremely tough and can withstand all sorts of regular gym use. ## Features - EASY & QUICK ADJUSTABILITY: *Micro weights included with dumbbells* Quickly adjust the weight set up or down for your exercise with the secure magnetic polypropylene pin. First of all they are very similar. They are both expandable to 90 lbs, Same increments and adder weights, closed handle design and five year limited warranty. Now here are the differences: 1. All Powerblock products are produced in China except for Powerblock Elite USA (not just the Elite EXP 2020 version). The country of origin will be engraved on the weight block. 2. The expandable weights (Stage 2 and Stage 3) are not fully compatible between Elite USA and Elite EXP 2020 version. Elite USA expansion Stage 2 and Stage 3 will not fit with Elite EXP 2020 version (50lbs powerblock is also known as Stage 1). So if you buy the Elite EXP 2020 version do not purchase from Powerblocks website expansion set. Only purchase from other vendors (like walmart and Dicks sporting goods). Elite EXP 2020 dimensions are bigger than the Elite USA so they will technically fit on the Elite USA, but it will not look right since they will look bigger on it. Of note: Many users answer this question stating that Elite EXP 2020 is not expandable and that is false. It is available from other vendors other than Powerblock website. Make sure you get the right one. 3. As I mention their sizes are slightly different. The Elite USA's are slightly smaller, but looks very similar otherwise. 4. The adder weight open/close locking mechanism are differenct. Elite USA has a manual lock mechanism while Elite EXP version 2020 has an auto lock mechanism. In my opinion these two powerblock weights are very similar and at similar price point I would choose the Elite USA (support local enconomy). Otherwise there is nothing wrong with choosing the better price of the Powerblocks. **Q: Are these dumbbells expandable? seems i am seeing mixed answers with this with some people saying its not, but title says exp which means expandable.** A: Yes, the Elite EXP is expandable up to 90 lbs. You can find the expansion kits on several of our authorized retailers websites such as dumbbellbuddy, incredibody, thenbenchpress.com or Gtech Fitness. **Q: Where i can buy the expadable weight for this 2020 model ?** A: Retailers that carry this product include Incredibody, thebenchpress.com, or Gtech Fitness. Thank you **Q: Did anyone received their Dumbbells in prestine condition or with some scuff marks and scratches in nearly all plates?** A: Just received mine, and every single metal plate is full of scratches. No happy at all. ## Frequently Bought Together - PowerBlock Elite EXP Adjustable Dumbbells, Sold in Pairs, Stage 1, 5-50 lb.
