OnStageMusic Accessory (DFP5500)

For the price this is a decent practice pad and the stand is of good quality. Do I wish the pad was bigger, yes, but this is what I ordered so I can't complain. The bottom of the pad did have a plastic piece that looks like where it would be held during manufacturing and didn't get removed properly. The pad would not sit flat on a surface. I used a metal file to file it down and now it sits flat just fine. I always use it on the stand so I guess this wouldn't have mattered but I take my reviews very seriously. :)I can't say anything conclusive about the bag because I don't use it. It seems like it works fine and has a nice thickness to it. You could probably use it as a racquetball racket holder if you wanted to actually.

My grandson loves it. I am grateful for the carrying case since he takes it to school everyday for music class. The head is smaller than I thought it would be. (I know ...I saw the dimensions but the "skin" is surrounded by a thick edging) It's great, but I think he would have liked the one with the built in metronome in it. But for carrying back and forth to school this is a great item, and a nice deal since it has the stand and the carrying case. It doesn't come with drum sticks but the case has a spot for them.

Perfect for my son in 4th grade as a practice pad. Adjusts well for his size however the legs at the bottom are hard to fold in once it is open. Supporting bars bent the first time I tries to close it up.

Hasn't fallen or gotten loose on me yet! This is really great to keep your rudiments tight or to introduce to someone as a first drum, to see if they have the PATIENCE to learn proper drumming. This, coupled with some YouTube videos on the basics of everything from how to hold your sticks to how to properly roll, and you're gettin' a great head start on the true art of percussion via drums.

I can practice my sticking anytime of day or night and I do. I have the On-Stage DPF5500 and a music stand in my b.r. and I practise before I leave my bed in the morrning. It's well made and weighs just right to move around and adjust. It's a great thing to learn me and get in time.

The zipper is not all the way attached on the bag. I bought this for my son. I am not sure about the rest of it’s quality, but very disappointed in the bag.

Needed to tighten the head when it arrived. Don't expect a professional quality drum pad, but for the price, it can't be beat. Case also makes it convenient for my daughter to carry to and from school. For under $40 for the complete package, it's a deal for sure.

The screw to the stand keeps breaking. They said it was too late to return so we keep trying new ones so it don’t fall on my son while in band at school.

This item looked great out of the bag, fast shipment. I wanted it for side drum training and it arrived just in time.But, the drum pad was far too loud, the mounting bolt on the top was too long and only went a third of the way into the pad, and thus would not sit against the support, fixable yes. Then I noticed the restraining bolt on the adjustable slide to raise the stand, had no threads on the receiving nut. Generally it was sturdy but too many issues. Sent it back

The item came whether used or refurbrished. Fingerprints are all over the white pad, dust and scretches on the tripod and bag.Returning the product.

I like that its an adjustable height. The carry bag is useless . But what truly disappointing is the pad itself....its so loud. Any practice pad i have seen is soft and quiet. This is hard and loud. You might as well have an actuall drum.
