Best of Inuyasha

While I prefer the ED songs to the OP songs, each track fills me with a deep sense of nostalgia.This doesn't contain EVERY single song used in the show or films (that's another album), but this album DOES have the full versions of the first four openings, the first five endings, and the ED songs for the first two movies, and the insert song from the second movie. Then there's one bonus track. The OP songs have more a happy upbeat pop sound, while the rest of the songs pretty much have a more melancholic and/or relaxing sound.My most favorite track, though, would have to be the bonus track, "Hanyou" (half-demon), which is an extended version of Inuyasha's theme song. The first half is found in the first soundtrack by composer Kaoru Wada, but you can ONLY get the second half on THIS album, and it's the score that Always Plays whenever Inuyasha attacked an enemy and defeated them (and plays on Viz Media's website as the OP song if you stream the episodes there.) I always feel like I'm running around Inuyasha-style wielding a giant sword to whoop some a*s, like I'm a little kid again on an adventure.

Hello,I have this CD, and I absolutely love it.I just want buyers to take caution when buying this CD second hand.I bought my first one second hand, and it did not come with the linear notes aka the itty bitty slip on the outside of the CD when you open it. Although the person I bought it from claimed it was factory sealed. Also, the image was not of Inuyasha and Kagome on the face of the CD, but the tree image from the inside of the CD lyric sheet.This CD I purchased secondhand was a bootleg. It had a three second pause at the start of play, and the CD had permanent skips.I had to buy it again secondhand. My second purchase had the linear notes on the outside and a different CD image on the face. It was the real thing.CD is excellent in music. It even has the instrumental from the second movie on it.If you are a die hard Inuyasha fan, and know all the intros and closings to the series, this CD is a must! You won't be disappointed. ^_^

One of my favorite animes of all time, and I simply love the music. The only one I've ever purchased an actual soundtrack for, and this one is worth it. I have about 5-6 tracks that I play on repeat in the car, and I don't even care that I don't know the lyrics, lol. The music varies from upbeat and fun ("Grip") to hauntingly beautiful, such as my favorite, "Dearest". If you like the show, get the cd!

Missing some songs I would like... for instance would be great is Four Seasons the ending theme from the 3rd movie were on it. Otherwise... definitely a solid CD if you love this anime :)

I love this soundtrack. It plays in a great quality. I like to listen to it when I'm trying to relax and play it for my baby.

What can I say, it's INU YASHA! This has become my favorite Japanese cartoon of all time. The storyline is just enough supernatural and childish matters to make it very entertaining. My daughter still loves it. This soundtrack is of all the beginning and ending songs from the series.

This cd brings back such good memories!! This is one of my favorite animes. I don't watch as much anime nowadays but I HAD to buy this for old times sake.

A good CD. Now I have all the songs and they play all the way through! The album cover is a little rusty (as advertised), but the lyrics pages are great & the CD is great.

I was so happy to get my inuyasha in the post, and it brilliant im very happy with it, its basically all the opening and ending themes of the episodes. if you're an inuyasha fan and love the music this would be the cd for you.

最後の13番 半妖 犬夜叉なんですが、最初は普通に曲が流れるのですが、最後あたりになると「ﾌﾟﾂ…ﾌﾟﾂ」と音が鳴ったり、曲が途切れたりします。少し残念な気持ちです。ただ、13番以外は普通に曲が流れるので、★4にしました。

懐かしいcdです。大切にします。ありがとうございました。
