Case Logic VNC-218 18-Inch Laptop Case, Black (3200926)

Just got it today and am happy with it so far. Arrived on time and was packed well. I especially like the place where bank card/credit card/medical alert info/ID can be kept. Also like the place for a key. I got it because I keep my phone in my pocket when I mow the yard and it would get too hot and the Otter Box covered in sweat. I believe having it on my arm will prevent this. I'll also be able to see who's calling or texting to determine if I want to stop mowing/yard work to take the call. If I should have a health problem (I get heat exhaustion easy) or fall and need help i have the phone handy to call for help (I'm older and live alone). I work from my home as a computer programmer and my cell phone is my primary phone. This is comfortable enough to wear it around the house and not have it in another room when a business call comes in. Fits well on my fore arm but I probably need the extension to make it fit better on my upper arm. When I wear it on my upper arm I like to put it in the holder with phone upside down so I can read it. I also don't put the end of the holder over it so I can hear and people hear me better. It fits snug and won't fall out. I would like it better if there were a Velcro flap rather than a slot so I could get the phone out quicker when a business call comes in. Also would like the same sound vents on both ends so the phone will work well whether I put it in up right on fore arm or upside down on upper arm. I have the Otter Box and it fits in the slot to go into the holder. It is snug but does fit. It would also hold a much thinner phone and case very snug. With phone on the arm it won't fall out the way it does in my back pocket - at the most annoying times. Our State is a hands free state. With the phone on my upper arm I can take a call while driving and it is close enough to hear and be heard. Over all a good product that I would recommend.

This is big, I fit my 18 inch laptop and portable monitor in no problem. Padding is good, zippers are nice.

I am a stay at home mom of three young boys and I take college classes part time. This semester the classes I need to take have to be taken "in person." As such, I began the search for a good, durable, yet reasonably priced bag for my 17.3 inch HP Pavilion dv7-6b63us laptop. I saw this bag, and the good reviews, and liked that extra pockets/space so ordered it. The bag IS big, but not overwhelmingly so. I am only 5'4 and 118 pounds, and I can handle it just fine. My laptop fits perfectly, with a little room to spare. I love the adjustable velcroe strap thing that helps hold the laptop in place (you can move it to accommodate different laptop sizes.) I also like the strap that goes over the laptop - very secure. The front pocket with the various pouches/compartments is very nice. Room for pens, not pad, whatever you want. Right now I can put my laptop, charging cord, 1 inch binder (full of papers), a pen, a highlighter, my cell phone and a folder all in the bag with plenty more room for more things if needed. It keeps my stuff organized very well and its not at all too heavy. My class is only once a week, so I will not be using this daily, but I think it would be great for daily use as well. I'm completely satisfied and will purchase this brand again in the future.

This product is great. It seems to be of good quality and should most definitely hold my 18.4 inch gaming laptop. It looks better in the picture than it does in person but it seems to be well padded and quite sturdy and is very roomy. I was a bit nervous ordering this even when it said it would hold my laptop and after a quick measurement once I opened it I am confident it will do the job. PROS: - Space for storage of all necessities and then some. - Has an adjustable padding strap inside. - Has a removable carrying strap to convert between handbag and shoulder bag - It isn't bulky. - It gets the job done. CONS: - Looks different in person compared to online photo. My Opinion on this product is somewhere between alright and awesome. I would buy it again if I had to and I would recommend it to others who have a large laptop and need a bag but can't go crazy in prices. If it wasn't for the fact I would have cords and other accessories that I would need to carry I would have gone with a sleeve which would have been cheaper but for the storage space and the actual laptop compartment space this was the best and cheapest option I could find, not to mention its a good buy for the price I got it at and it definitely beats going and blowing 60+ dollars just for a high end bag that may be cheaper in quality than this which is mostly almost the case.

I'm very pleased with this laptop bag. I ordered the 18" and my laptop is 15.6". It fits very comfortably inside with room to spare. I could have bought the 16" bag but I thought it would be better to go bigger than smaller. It has lots of pockets and space for your papers, power supply, mouse, and other gadgets, and it's roomy enough that you could even fit a couple of books in there. There's also an outer zippered pocket that's perfect for a cell phone. On the back of the case, there is a horizontal strap that will fit over a luggage handle -- a thoughtful touch for those who travel. The materials and stitching seem to be of good quality, although since I've only had it for a few days, it's impossible to say how it will hold up over time. However, judging from the look of it, I don't expect any problems. I'm very happy with this bag and would recommend it to someone who wants a quality, roomy bag at an affordable price.

INITIAL THOUGHTS I recently bought a brand new $1700 17" MSi laptop, and I wanted to make sure I bought a case that would protect it well. This case has exceeded my expectations and I am yet to have any serious mishaps with it. PROS ✓ Good Size -> This case fit my 17-inch laptop without any issues. The way the inside is designed, it has a velcro strap that acts at one of the borders that keeps the Laptop secure. With that being said, this laptop case allows you to adjust the inner casing dependent on the size of your laptop, which means it has a lot of re-use value for laptops that are smaller than 18"). ✓ Secure -> On the inside there is a black strap that you can put around your laptop and adjust it to be super tight. On top of that, the adjustable inner border allows the laptop to remain snug inside the case. The inside of the laptop case, the part that is in direct contact with the sides of your laptop, is a strong/firm foam that will definitely keep your laptop safe. ✓ Comfortable -> The case comes with a black adjustable strap that fits comfortably on your shoulder. At the top of the strap, there is a nice foam strap so that it doesn't get overly uncomfortable after being on your shoulder for long periods of time. ✓ Lots of Extra Pockets -> A good laptop case has extra compartments for all your computer peripherals like a mouse, charger, cables, etc. On the front of the case there is about a 4 inch deep pocket that is perfect to fit any smaller cables/storage devices (USBs, SDs, etc.). There is then another huge compartment on the outside (same length/width as the main compartment, just not as deep. Inside this compartment there is an abundance of pockets of different sizes (to reduce any movement, and keep everything organized. This compartment is where I always put the laptop charger and mouse, and have never had any problems with excessive bulkiness or struggle closing the bag. ✓ Super Portable -> There is three main ways you can carry this case. There is the adjustable shoulder strap, the handle on the side and the luggage strap in order to attach this to a luggage bag. All of these portability methods have all proven very reliable and comfortable. CONS ✘ Not Water Proof -> Just make sure that if you're carrying this and it starts to rain, to make sure you hold is sideways or put it under something. I have had one instance where I got caught in the rain walking home and had all of my computer accesories all wet (luckily, nothing broke). ✘ Could Use More Padding -> The padding in the main laptop compartment is strong on the sides, but not too strong on the large face. I would recommend maybe getting a foam piece to put on that side incase you ever drop it flat. Other than that, the other sides seems extremely secure/protected. FINAL THOUGHTS ⚖ Absolutely an amazing case, and at the end of the day I have very little complaints. I would recommend this laptop case to anyone with a 16-18" Laptop (maybe 15"). Although the divider helps adjust to smaller sizes, a 15" laptop case may be more suitable for a smaller laptop. Ich bin absolut zufrieden mit der Case Logic Notebooktasche. Sie bietet absolut ausreichend viel Stauraum für mein 17'' Notebook samt Zubehör und auch noch Schreibmaterialien. Wenn man das Netzteil in das Hauptfach zum Notebook dazu gibt (Trennwand ist vorhanden) sitzt es sehr gut in der Tasche, rutscht nicht viel herum und ist auch ausreichend geschützt, wenn man die Tasche nicht gerade durch die Gegend wirft. Der Umhängegurt ist auch sehr stabil und angenehm zu tragen. Ich habe die Tasche nun schon seit ca. 1 1/2 Jahren und habe noch keine Verschleißerscheinungen feststellen können. Bin vollends zufrieden damit.
