This timer fits various toaster ovens and works as the original. This one doesn’t have a stay on position as the original had.

This product enabled me to fix our toaster oven instead of buying a new one. Hoping this will work as long as the original part that it replaced.

The switch was a good fit but quit working after 6 months. I contacted the manufacturer and they said no returns or replacement after 30 days. Junk part!

The original failed after about 5-1/2 years of use. We did use the toaster-r-oven for baking fries and fried chicken so the timer would be under a lot of heat. These parts all fail due to excessive heat on the contact (the bakelite surrounding the contact will eventually fail from the thermo-load). I suspect this part will also fail after about the same amount of usage. This is probably OK, as the heat is also transferred back to the wall socket (which will also suffer thermo-damage. I would rather be replacing this part than have too much heat damage at the wall socket.A better design would involve some method of isolating heat, but for $50 toaster-r-ovens, that is too much to expect. For a industrial usage, yes. For home usage... just be prepared to disassemble your unit and replace the timer with a new part like this one. Either that, or buy a new toaster (but consider the former, replacing the part, as a something towards saving the planet :-) .
