Tasty bread even when compared to gluten bread
This bread is phenomenal (for store bought bread) even when you compare it to brands of bread that are made with wheat flour. It is a bit pricey, but you’ve got to pay to play. Every other gluten-free store bought brand I’ve tried tastes like hot cardboard or weird popcorn and I have tried quite a few. The bread is vacuum sealed inside the bag and the expiration date is on the inner bag so you can be sure there is no funny business and you’re getting (relatively) fresh bread. This bread is so good that my girlfriend who can eat gluten keeps stealing it. It’s so good that if I survive this pandemic, I would try to get a tour of the factory.I can’t attest to the shelf life of an opened package, because I normally open it and then throw it in the freezer so I don’t have to consume it in a short period of time, but the package does instruct you to refrigerate it after opening. So if you like eating your bread un-toasted, you better be prepared to eat it in the first sitting, eat it at around 40 degrees F, or look elsewhere. Speaking of which, it’s phenomenal toasted with butter and it makes decent grilled cheeses too.

Flavor and falling apart
Most gluten free breads are not the most tasty but I have no sense of taste so the ability to stay together is most important for me. Some are crumbly and some are better for spreading etc. SCHAR does this the best for me and I like it the most of all I have triedThe last order I received was 9 loaves and I only thought I had ordered one pack of 3. I tried to use it all but I am the only one needing gluten free and the last two loaves were completely spoiled. Please look at my order and make it ONE pack of 3 at a time I noted you are out right now

Small slices/loaves
Just a heads up, I would have appreciated one. I was surprised to receive such small loaves (small slices). 3 loaves for $24+, $8 per loaf. I pay that for loaves with larger slices (sandwich sized). I had purchased this in another state, same brand and flavor but a regular sized loaf. Not finding it locally, I ordered it online. Still has good flavor and consistency (I always toast my gf bread), it is just small. Based on size I would say this isn't a good value for the price.
