I thought these were really cool when I first got them. Unfortunately, they just aren’t that great. Right out of the box both of these weren’t working the way they should. The erasers don’t totally erase. I love the colors on the board instead of the traditional black. But seconds after drawing or using the included magnets, the board starts to disappear. My kids are super little, so they don’t notice the quality deficiencies, but I really wish this had been a better buy. It’s just not good quality and you’re better off spending more money for a different product.

So cute with the animal shapes and colors. I had a magna doodle as a kid and I don't remember the lines being as precise as we got on this. I let my 2 year old try this out the night we got it to make sure he would be interested (it's a Christmas gift) and he LOVED it. I couldn't get it away from him for well over an hour. Simple, classic, portable, entertaining, encourages creativity. And he can't color all over my walls when he's drawing with this (as opposed to crayon, pencil, etc.).

Given as a gift for my three year old niece. It was a total hit! She loves drawing and this is a nice mess-free, environmentally safe way to do so. I saw her recently with the big yellow board and know she loves that but can't speak to how all the other little parts worked. The yellow board is large but light enough for her to carry around easily. I would not consider the yellow travel friendly because she won't be able to hold it and play with it in her car seat. The smaller blue board seems more travel friendly. All in all very happy with this purchase. If the kids are happy, I'm happy.

Recently I discovered that my daughter liked these kind of slates a lot, so decided to buy them, ordered couple of them from Amazon and others but didnt meet the quality I was looking for them so had to return those. Finally while searching, this one popped up in Amazon, looked at review and found those usefull, I felt that it might be a little costly but stilld ordered it, and surprisingly, the moment we got it at home my daughter liked it a lot, she is playing with it since the moment it got home, also its quite sturdy as my daughter did stand on the slate for atleast 2-3 times, though it looks little delicate but it is good and sturdy.The only reason for giving it 4 stars, is the yellow color (when written, dont get my wrong by thinking its a spot/stain), on the slate, it could have been better if the color was little darker like other 5 are.Overall good product, very happy with it

Loved it as my kids enjoy playing on it for hours. Loved the tracing slides that came with it. It would be great to have a slot on the back to store them as well. The smaller board didn’t have a string attached to the pen- would be good to have it.

I ordered these for my 3 year old grandson for Christmas, he loves doodling. I had to try them out of course, So I carefully lifted the protection paper and proceeded to draw and erase several little "art works". It was fun. Before I knew it I had spent half an hour doodling away. These are too much fun, maybe I should have gotten me one, definitely reduces stress. Hopefully the grandson will find them as much fun as I did.

I have no idea how this item has such high reviews! The smaller one came with marks on it...that looked you could erase....But you cannot. Also...The smaller one is made of the cheaper plastic...That can easily crack....The larger one is ok...But it does not have enough magnetic material inside....So when drawing....Some of it does not show up. I was going to return it....But my 4 year old lost himself.....So now I am looking to buy a better one....I am extremely disappointed!😔

Ease of play and interaction. My 2 year old daughter was quickly drawn to this set and learned to use it within minutes. She loves holding onto the stamps and I can practice shapes and her ABC's while talking and singing to her. The travel size is convenient as well.
