Freud34-132: 1" Radius Rounding Over Bit (Quadra-Cut)

This bit is very high quality materials, works well in my Dewalt DCW600 router. it is very sharp and remains sharp after many uses.

This did an excellent job of leaving a silky smooth finish behind it.It is worth the price in my opinion.I have a piece made of white oak and walnut, 33 x 22 inches x and y. It cut cleanly with no chipping the entire circumference on it.Very happy with the result.Bosch is always good stuff in my experience (45 yrs of woodworking).

Have used Freud bits before. They tend to cost a bit more than others you can find around Amazon. But from my experience, you're paying for sharpness and how long it takes to dull out. I needed to put 1/8" Radius cuts on the edges of a slab of HDPE. Didn't even feel the tool cut the material, and the finish left behind was near polished. Very happy & satisfied with how the cutter handled, still looks like the bit was never even used. Can always recommend paying up for Freud bits on finish projects!

Freud products are superior across the board, whether their biscuit joiner, saw blades or router bits. The difference with this round over bit that makes it superior to others is that it has four carbide cutters instead of the standard two. This makes for finer cuts and less burn than you tend to get with two-cutter router bits, especially when making aggressive cuts. Naturally, the price for the Freud is significantly higher than two-cutter bits but the cost is worth it when it comes to performance and quality of cuts.

This is a fantastic high quality round over bit from a trusted name in the business. I needed a round over bit to make quick work of knocking off the edges on a bathroom vanity I'm building and didn't want to hand sand all the edges. I vacillated between this 1/8" bit or the 1/16" bit and I'm glad I went with this one. I can't imagine that a sixteenth of an inch would be any less sharp that the regular cut corner. The 1/8" round over is almost imperceptible itself until you "see" it or feel it. What I mean by "see it" is I showed a sample piece I tried to my wife (one of the boards in the photos) and she was like "what am I looking at?" and I had her feel the corner and it was then she was "Ohhhhh, that's nice and soft". Basically this bit did exactly what I wanted and needed it to do. I was able to round off all sharp edges in just a few minutes with a quick pass of a finishing router and done. Worked out great. If I need any more router bits I will definitely be shopping Freud for their reputation and quality products.

Cuts well, but the smaller extra teeth aren't perfectly aligned with the main radius, so they leave a facet slightly different from the radius. Durable.

I decided to upgrade some of my router bits. I needed the 3/8 roundover for a project using several exotic woods that were prone to chipping. I used the Freud bit and had no problems at all. All of the cuts were smooth as glass. I highly recommend this Quadra cut bit!! They cost more, but well worth it when you're working with expensive wood. I hope it lasts a long time

My husband is building a sauna and was very impressed with this tool.

Used this to roundover the edges of a bunch of MDF panels. It's real easy to use. Produces nice and consistent roundovers. Is now my go-to bit for all panel edges. Excellent tool..

Works great. Sharp blades, no burning on walnut. Used a ridgid handheld router with this 1/4 inch round over bit. It cut through walnut effortlessly without any burning.
