A little small for a 9yo
They are alright- got them for my 9yo. He complained of the knee pads pinching the back of his leg. I think they are running a little small in size.

Pads for 9yr old who rollerblades
These were for my 9 year old grandson. They worked great for rollerblading ~ which he is very tough on!

Fell appart
These would have good for the $12 they were had they not fallen apart before 1 day of use. The elastic straps to hold them off fell off on 4 of the 6 pieces in less than a day, the netting and fabric is extremely cheap.
