Wai Wai Hot and Spicy Shrimp Instant Noodles 1.9oz (55g), 15 Pack

I don't know if Wai Wai is the best brand or not. I DO know that the flavor (Tom Klong) is now my favorite though and Wai Wai's Tom Klong is a major win for me. I might experiment with other brands, but if all else fails, Wai Wai won't disappoint. Tom Klong is a very unique flavor. It is hot and spicy and the flavor is supposed to be that of smoked fish. I know people, like me, that have a very open palate and would love these... and I know some people that won't eat anything other than hotdogs and macaroni and cheese. So, if you are brave, you gotta check these out! Wai Wai has a 24 ct variety pack. If you aren't hard-sold on Tom Klong yet, you can give the variety pack a try. Maybe you'll find your own favorite among them!

flavor is hot and spicy, not hot and mild, that one star review is a waste of my reading skills as they did not bother to read that this flavor is hot and spicy and not made in the USA where ppl eat bland food. Different taste than I had expected but very delicious nonetheless, i want to say slight vinegar flavor in the SPICY broth. Noodles are by far better than any noodle I have ever eaten, like noodles can be snack alone as the noodles themselves, I can see they have spices/herbs to them not just in the season packets

I'll probably get some MAMA brand and mix them together. This doesn't have the lime-tomato-spices flavor I crave. The noodles are a slightly darker color and firmer and the hot spice level is much higher. I like spicy food but this will definitely be too intense for a lot of people. It doesn't have that bitter-underripe-pepper taste that some spicy foods have. It does have a slightly smoky flavor. The paste was difficult to get out of the packet. If this had more lime and less smoke flavor, and more oil or water in the paste so it is easier to get out of the packet - it would be perfect.

Comparable with a Thai kick, sriracha is a must for this, but be prepared for the spice. It's not for the faint of heart. It will definitely clear your sinuses. Perfect ramen for a winter day/flu.
