Not an upgrade, a new experience.
I was looking for an upgrade from my round, bottom fan dehydrator from Walmart. I am getting more into preservation and needed an easier workhorse. I have used and abused this machine for roughly two months to make fruit powder, fruit leather, tea herbs, ramp powder, you name it. I have had zero issues and it is a dream to use. So quiet! Also, if anyone is wondering with price, this exact model is listed under roughly 7 different brand names. Get the cheapest, that’s what I did.Pros:1: whisper quiet2: adjustable time and temp3: amount of space on racks4: YOU CAN DRY CAN IN IT!!! When I’m done with a drying round I pack it into a jar, set temp on max for 15 and throw it in. Then place a canning kid and ring and remove. Wait for the almighty “ping” and good to go.The only cons are fairly negligible.1: the beeping when it’s done is obnoxious. 15 or so super loud beeps.2: the drop tray is a perfect fruit tray but you only get one.

Love it... and I don't even like Jerky but my family does! Easy to use, clean and put away!

Good but question quality
Loved the product for the first few weeks I had it. Then the adhesive that kept the front glass panel came loose. Makes me have concern for the quality of the rest of the product if this panel came off just a few weeks after having it.

GREAT LOOKING AND DOES A GREAT JOB
Nice Looking product, and easy to use, cleans easily too. Have only dried fruits and veggies yet works really well.

Arrived dented, no damage to box so was packaged that way
Also, temp control only cycles between preset levels, eg. 158, 149, 140 etc. can’t set exact temp you want. Returned for Consori which appears identical except different controller which allows precise temp settings.

Nice Design...Poor Quality
Well...at least i got 3 dehydration events out of it b4 the front door glass separated from the frame. The machine is user friendly and a nice design, just the mfg quality is poor. I brought this machine to Asia zo it might be challenging to find high temp sealers.
