One Year Bible, Large Print

Love,love,love this. Bought it at Mardel's last year & liked it so much I bought more to go with my Christmas gifts for loved ones! The lined margins are the best for writing down thoughts & Rhema ideas while soaking in the scriptures. Also, I've been comparing this easy to read translation to a couple of others & find it extremely accurate & so user friendly for 2026!

Easy to read, large print. Great bible for the price.

After years and years of struggling with reading through the bible. I was given a copy of the one year bible. It was a game changer for me . I was finally able to actually completely read through the bible. I highly recommend for anyone who is struggling with consistent daily reading of the Bible. I have bought copies as gifts and recommended to friends. I would buy it again. I would especially like if Tyndall published a KJV one year Bible in large print. I will still continue to read until they do. May the LORD'S blessings be upon you as you seek him.

This is the Bible I used for years and I like that the passages are already preselected for each day of the year. It made it easy to start my morning time in the Word without considering where to start. It was a concrete plan for reading through the Bible in one year, and then it was a path to unfold Scripture in new ways each year thereafter. I came to enjoy the NLT translation and really benefitted from the extra quotes and devotions written between months or quarters. The pages are pretty, and the font is not too tiny. I do like having the paperback for the lightweight quality, but I did reinforce the cover with clear tape to increase the longevity. I write birthdays and other significant dates near the date mark, and find there is space enough in the margins and between dates to do this and even make small notes if I choose. I often buy this Bible for other women who are looking to walk through the Word in either a year or over several years because it is less intimidating knowing you can go right to the day's date and hear an Old Testament, New Testament, Psalm and Proverb that just might incorporate what you need to hear that very moment. There is a great table of contents too, so for one who is familiar with the Bible's order, you can quickly find any reference you are looking for by using the contents, but this would not be a good first Bible for someone who is going to be looking up specific passages, as it's not organized like a traditional Bible or study Bible. This is just a great everyday personal Bible for a woman who wants to be more consistent in reading the Word and watch how it can change her over the years.

I've read through this many times. It has helped me to be faithful in my Scripture reading on many days when I was tired or overwhelmed. The language is perfect, and the notes are helpful. Love it.

Definitely recommend this Bible for anyone looking to read the entire Bible in a year. Very doable daily reading schedule, good quality pages , helpful references at the beginning nd of each daily section.

Update: I noticed this little note on one of the index pages. I'm not sure why, but the choice to leave out the verse numbers for the book of Proverbs was intentional. .. Original review: This is a great way to easily read through a little of OT, NT, Psalms and Proverbs each day. However, it's sad that such an obvious mistake was missed in the quality check.

I also have the ESV Journaling Bible which I use for my Bible Study. I am really enjoying this Bible for a couple reasons: - the size is like a thick paperback so it's easy to hold - the format makes it simple to do daily reading - the font is VERY legible, much larger than my ESV Bible and the green text color is easy on the eyes. I am a very fast reader but I notice my reading speed is even faster with this font formatting. I can read it without my reading glasses LOL - the design of the interior of the book is very pretty and I appreciate the extra design elements and pink and green headings - the NLT translation is simple enough that you don't need to have great reading comprehension skills. If I am struggling to understand complex language in the ESV Bible I will grab this one and compare the verse to get a simpler understanding. - this translation makes a big effort to be more accessible to women by changing "man" or "son" to gender neutral pronouns and softens some of the language where women are being taken advantage of ie, Judges 21:20-21 instead of saying "snatch each man his wife from the daughters of Shiloh" (ESV) the NLT translation says "each of you can take one of them home to the land of Benjamin to be your wife!" Negative aspects: - paper is very thin, after reading through it my copy is very worn because the pages wrinkle just from the heat of my hands holding it - not great for Bible Study by itself because if you want to read one book straight through or look up a verse in the middle of a book you will be flipping through pages a lot to find it since the books are split across days with sections of the other books in between - they say this translation is a combo of thought for thought and word for word style translations but based on my comparisons with other translations this appears to lean more in the direction of thought for thought for thought. I have seen the NLT translation described but others as thought for thought

Read through the entire Bible in a year, without having to follow a plan or flip back and forth finding each passage, as each day's reading is dated and contains a selection from OT, NT, Psalms, and Proverbs. The soft paperback is easy to hold onto and the large print isn't huge, but lets me read comfortably. I'm really enjoying the modern language of the New Living Translation, too.

This Bible is quite easy to understand, anyone will enjoy reading and studying this version

A beautiful Bible for creative quite times and reflection ! I love this!! Can highly recommend it!
